Moondust dipped his head. "My name is Moondust." He said. He turned and started walking toward camp, looking back to see if the she-cat had followed. "So... What happened to your clan?" He asked.

Snowstar let out a purr, "you can do that tomorrow. Why don't tou gather up a patrol and go hunting?"

Beechpelt smiled sheepishly as she moved after him, looking down at her paws as she walked. "It's a looooong story.." She shrugged and flicked her tail, looking over her shoulders again. Her pale green eyes were full of worry and apprehension, afraid that this tom may actually be leading her to one of those 'vicious clans' that the elders had talked about. The she-cat padded along quietly behind him. "It's a.. sad one, too. I wouldn't want to burden you with that."

"I'm sure I've heard worse." Moondust said. "Sorry about whatever happened though." He added quickly, afraid he might have come off rude. "Don't worry though, Snowstar won't bite." He said, seeing she looked a bit nervous.

"Right, of course she won't. I'm not terribly worried about that." Beechpelt smiled again as she walked behind him, flicking her ears forward to see if she could hear any sliver of clan life ahead. She had been gone from it for so long that she missed the sounds. The voices of many cats at once, good-hearted arguing, kits mewling, she wanted to hear it all again. She closed her eyes halfway as her stomach growled, and the she-cat realized she hadn't eaten anything for a good day and a half. She had been so intent of traveling that she had completely spaced it.

Moondust heard the she-cat's stomach growl and kept walking. He looked at the entrance ahead and quickened his pace. "This is the entrance." He said as he stepped through. "Snowstar?" He called as he stepped in the clearing, casting a quick glance back to see if Beechpelt had followed.

Snowstar flicked her tail, signaling the apprentice to stay there. She headed to the entrance and met moondust. "Yes?" She said worriedly, afraid something bad had happened.

"We have a visitor." Moondust said. "She claims she has come from a different clan." He informed the leader. "I didn't know there were other clans, did you?" He asked Snowstar before glancing back to see if Beechpelt had followed him inside the camp.
