Moondust had been roaming the forest on his own. He picked up the scent of a cat nearby and his ears flattened. Intruder. was his only thought as he stalked toward the scent. Lucky for him, he was downwind of the strange cat. He stepped around the bush and looked her in the eye. "State your business." He said as he bunched his muscles, getting ready encase she tried anything.

Flamepaw nodded as he nipped off the flowers gently. "Does it ever get... boring?" He asked. "I mean like, never getting to hunt or practice for battle... How is that like?" He asked.

The she-cat stopped in surprise, her tail puffing up slightly. "Oh! Uhm, hello, uh.." She chirped nervously, looking around for any other cats that might be waiting to ambush her. "Is this your territory? I should've known, there was the smell of something. Now that I think about it, it does smell like cats, and a lot." Beechpelt paused and blinked, her green eyes growing wide. "A clan! A clan of cats?! I came from one, one really reeeally far away! I didn't realize there were others!"

Moondust took a second to process what she had just said. "What do you mean? You came from a clan?" He asked with narrowed eyes. She doesn't look like she is lying... he thought as he studied her. "What clan?" He added.

She shuffled her paws on the ground and looked around nervously. "It was really far away, it was called Cavernclan. They lived in a bunch of caves inside a hill. It was a very close-knit family-like clan.. but.." Beechpelt lowered her tail and flattened her ears to her head. "Uhm, anyway, I didn't mean to intrude. I'll go."

"No, wait." Moondust said. "Snowstar will want to hear about this. Would you like to come to Snowclan's camp to meet our leader?" He asked her. Does Snowstar even know any other clans exist? he wondered as he waited for an answer.

Beechpelt looked at the tom in front of her, tilting her head. "I mean.. as long as you don't lead me into some sort of trap.." She flicked her ears and lowered her tail slightly, blinking at him. Her eyes flashed as she looked over her shoulder, seemingly staying on the lookout for something.

The male shook his head. "I won't. I just think you should meet Snowstar." He said. "I didn't know any other clans even existed, and she may not either." He added.

"I knew there were other clans. The elders of my old one always talked about them, saying that some were vicious and others were kindhearted." Beechpelt looked up at the sky, her mind going back to the days of Cavernclan. It filled her with a melancholy feeling, and she sighed as she looked back at the tom. "My name is Beechpelt."
