Chase looked up at the smell of horse. "Hey, you. Are you so incompetent that you can't become human? Or are you to ugly? It's a classroom, not a stable!" He was somehow irritated at this shifter bringing shame on the shifter name. He disliked horses. Not to say he was struggling to maintain his human form when every cell of him wanted to shift into a wolf and take him down. No, Chase. He is a student, not prey.... he chided himself and turned back to his book.

(excuse him, but he's bored and looking for a fight.)

Astrid looked at the girl who stood near her desk, and mustered the best smile as she could as she introduced herself. "Oh, Uhm, I'm Astrid.. I study the element of darkness" She said looking down and managing her smile.

Murphy looked to the boy. He shifted into his human form and chuckled, "Funny you should mention, actually." He replied. "In fact, I am not a human shapeshifter at all. I'm a Kelpie. Our natural form is a horse, so it's more comfortable for me to keep the form." He gave a warm smile to the irratated shapeshifter, before taking a seat.

Pomer looked at Astrid and replied,"Oh, that seems interesting. Well, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of each other then." Pomer reached into her bag and pulled a notebook out and set it on her desk. She stared out the window and studied the clouds as she waited for class to begin.

Chase snorted, trying to control his impulse to shift, but unfortunately, his rolling emotions and pent up energy, as well as his young, untrained age, overwhelmed him. "Fine..." He hissed before he turned into a Siberian tiger. Glaring around, he dared anyone to say anything, not looking at the other shifter, a bit shamed, and looked down to his book. "Rats," he growled, since during his transformation his claws had ripped through some pages. Tail lashing furiously, he flipped a few pages on, huffing in annoyance.

(I made chase have a bit of a moment, since no one is that trained, and he only 16 XP))

Aurora tilted her head up, the light catching her eyes and reflecting their red color. She gave the rude boy a glare, then changed to a black panther with red eyes and lay on the floor beside Murphy silently.

Murphy looked around at his class mates. "Quite a bit of cats today, hmm?" He commented, not minding the Chase, but taking an uneasy glance at Aurora. "Now I wonder where the teacher is?"

(I asked the Rp owner ahead of time if I could play a Kelpie. Murphy only has, and will ever have, three forms to shift between, so he has a bit more control over his horse and human. His kelpie-demon side, however, can become enraged very easily and can quickly get out of hand.)

Chase read on, glancing at the panther once. Subtly, he tilted the book so she could see it better, and resumed reading, sheathing his claws in preparation to turn the page. "Turn?" He said quietly to Aurora. Looking back up at the other boy, Chase sensed a... Difference between normal shifters and him. It wasn't bad, but... Demons, under the skin. Better not to provoke him any more. He directed his attention back to Aurora and the book.

Aurora,disliking talking in a shift, simply nodded. She poked a scratch mark with her claw, her red eyes shining with curiousity, but she stayed silent about it. She barely met people who enjoyed shifting to a cat. For her, the cat form was like her original form. She was worried, she hadn't changed in a while, and it could happen at any moment.
