"If you need anything else, I will be in the den." She meowed before trotting away. Noticing Reedstar, the medicine cat apprentice bounded over to her. "Reedstar? Have you see Oakflower? I haven't seen her since yesterday." She mewed, worry stricken in her voice.

Shadowcast smiled at the kits. "Thank you Lilypaw." He mewed before the apprentice left the nursery. He looked looked back at the kits. They all looked wonderful. But they need a father. The tom thought, imagining some other cat playing with the kits in the future. He pushed it aside. I will try my very hardest to be their father.
