Blackpaw patrolled the area making it clear of Iceclan, Stormclan and other clan cats in their territory. She perked her ears up when she listened to a mouse run around. She stood into a stalking position and pounced on the mouse narrowing her eyes carrying it in her mouth.

Shadowfrost waited for Patchpaw to catch up with her and Blackpaw.

The apprentice layed the mouse in a pile and went to catch some more fresh-kill. She spotted a robin that was prickling on the ground at a worm. She attacked it at once then put it in the pile.

Shadowfrost noticed a pheasant nearby and mentioned for her apprentice to go around and scare it towards her.

Blackpaw nodded her head as she chased the pheasant(?) towards her mentor.

|After eating the Daisy leaves that Swirlleaf gave her, Patchpaw felt much better. As Shadowfrost reminded her, Patchpaw responded "Oh yea, we never did finish that patrol!" to Shadowfrost. Quickly, she scurried after them as the mentor and her apprentice bounded off to patrol the border |
