I think neither.
Her 'legs' are actually arms with joints like human arms... She'd probably fold at least one pair underneath herself but the rest would support her body, keeping her torso in an upright position.

Seeing that "Steven's Birthday" came out 5 days ago, I'm assuming that means that I am allowed to post about it.

Well, first of all, remember the full SU theme song? Steven goes to live with the Crystal Gems. When he was little with the bandaid, oversized shirt, and lost tooth, he looked young, yes. But when he went in the beach house, he looked like his normal self like in the regular episodes. I was like, "Did it take super long for them to build the house or something?" Really he just grew into his 8 year old looks, as shown in the new episode, and stayed like that throughout the season. Which means that he could have started to live with the CGs at age 8-13 (or 12, I don't know if he aged in 'So Many Birthdays'). So... this theory probably has a lot of holes in it but whatever. What do you guys think?

Yeah, he probably hasn't been living with them for very long. Current time in Steven's Universe (hehe) probably matches the current year (2016), from what we've seen. The past Crystal Gems look like they're styled to fit perfectly into the 80's, making Greg about 45-50 years old and Steven around 13, if the character design does correlate to their age and the decade they're trying to match.

I feel like Greg realized that the Crystal Gems wouldn't be very good parents or rolemodels for a young half-human child, and so decided to raise him without their help, although he probably allowed the Crystal Gems to visit whenever they wanted.

Favorite episode: Probably the two Lapis ones around ep 20-ish? I don't know the names for episodes but I like a few others as well.
Other: I'm up to episode 47 so far! I've watched about 30 episodes in the past 2 days, aha... I watched the first 10 or so months ago but wasn't too interested in it, but thanks to tumblr and the new episodes, I've been curious and decided to watch it again. I can't watch more until I get back from school as most sites are blocked, but it left off on a cliffhanger and I'm really excited to continue with it ahhhh ;o;
