"I overheard everything when you joined the clan. I watched from the apprentice den and I wanted to say hi but uh, you know, I have a bit of social anxiety so I didn't." Rabbitpaw answered, ears laid back in shame.

Bluegaze gave the she cat a small smile and started to feel his face heat up. "Can I say that you're beautiful?" He meowed.

Echo nodded slowly, understanding the feeling of not being able to talk to someone. "It's fine. I've seen you around the territory before." He shrugged, guessing that Rabbitpaw knew that he had been 'spying' on the clan cats. It definitely was spying, but it wasn't for a bad reason, so that makes it okay. Right? Echo snapped out of his thoughts; putting his focus back on Rabbitpaw. "Were you born into the clan?" He meowed eventually, not really knowing what to talk about. He was curious to learn about his new clan-mates, though.

Her heart thudded in her chest. "And I never want to lose you either," she replied softly. All her troubles and worries melted away. Flamepaw liked her, he really liked her. Memories of warmth and family flooded in, the times before, Flamepaw embodied those times. "I- I" she couldn't even speak as she pressed herself against him.

Flamepaw couldn't help but pull away from Frostpaw to look into her eyes. He furrowed his brows and his gaze was serious. "Seriously, though. You don't like Ravenpaw; right?" He asked in an anxious tone, still keeping his eyes glued to hers. He searched for any sign of regret, but he could only see her warm eyes glistening in the sun.

"I don't love him," she replied with confidence. But she felt odd saying that, something about it wasn't true. She didn't brood on it, she was with Flamepaw. She was finally with Flamepaw. "It's been too long a day," she muttered into his fur as the sun finally descended.

Ravenpaw could tell that it was getting dark by the lack of warmth on his fur. He didn't feel like going back yet, so he curled up on the smooth rock and listened to the sound if the wind blowing through the trees.

Flamepaw's fur was on end as he analyzed her response. She said she didn't love him, but my question was if she liked him. Does this mean something? Flamepaw started to panic in his mind, his eyes anxiously flickering between Frostpaw and his own paws. He was extremely jealous, he couldn't deny it. "O-Oh. That's good. He chuckled nervously, leaning into her as he did earlier. He really hoped that they could stay together for a long time, but he was still anxious. I know she reassured me that she doesn't like him, but I still don't know.

She purred as she leaned in closer to Flamepaw. His fur was soft and his scent was pleasing to her. But as she leaned briefly on his shoulder, she heard the faint flutter of bird wings. Her eyes flickered to the sky, seeing as a raven passed through the trees. Her heart fluttered.
