"No," she replied softly with a bit of a sigh. "I guess I haven't made much of an effort." She was too shy to try. She went from kit to apprentice in a day, it was so overwhelming.

Sandpaw: "Ahh, I see," he replied smile, "maybe I can introduce you to some later." He took another bite of the prey and then let out a contented sigh. "I'm full now."

She nodded and jumped to her paws. She had too much nervous energy. "Do you want to race to the river?" She asked, eyes hopeful.

Sandpaw: "Sounds like fun," he replied with a large grin. He crouched down and waved his tail excitedly.

Frostpaw allowed herself a small smile as she readied herself to race. Competition lit like a fire in her deep blue eyes as she shifted her position so that her shoulders were rolled forward and hackles were haunched. "On your mark," she invited, the first words that had come out with true confidence.
