Lilypaw stared at the herb stock, trying to decide what was low. Soon she came to a conclusion that feverfew, parsley and cob nuts were low and they only had one cob nut. "I know feverfew is for headaches and fevers, and cob nuts can be made into ointments, but what is parsley for again?" She asked herself as she left the den to inform Oakflower. Once outside, she saw Swiftpaw and nodded. "I can get you some mouse bile Swiftpaw." The apprentice meowed before walking back into the den to get some. She wrapped it in sleek leaves before handing him the bundle. "Here." Lilypaw meowed, holding it out to him.

Arthur rolled his eyes. "I've been a few times and I must say there are some pretty she cats in the Clan, and you can't honestly say you've never wondered what freshly caught mouse tasted like?" He meowed, still looking into the swamp. Alligators didn't scare him half as much as maybe they should, but the thing that did scare him is having to fight other cats and... Sleep outside?! The kittypet shivered, almost ridding himself of the thought.

Tiger glanced back at the swamp before sighing. "You're right. Plus, my housefolk's kit always plays with me and feeds me. He hugs me when I'm scared and makes me happy when I'm sad." He explained, before letting out a huff and sitting up. "But he used to pull on my tail when he was smaller." The tom looked at May and smiled. "But that's just like all housefolk kits, right?"

The grey she-cat was around camp, sitting, having no one to talk to. It wasn't usual that she couldn't find her mentor, Owlstripe, but she decided to ignore that fact and get it out of the way. It wasn't like this was a usual thing, but she did want to train a bit earlier today. Aspenpaw would have to deal with the fact that she couldn't find her mentor. Sitting near the apprentice's den, she kept reciting techniques thought to her in her mind.

Looking around the swamp, she looked over at Spottedpaw who seemed to lost in her thoughts or just not wanting to speak at all. Either way, Yarrowpaw didn't like the quietness much around the patrol, even if Yarrowpaw, herself, was quiet. We should start hunting. We mustn't hesitate. She mewled confidently, turning her back, her tail swishing gently.

Licking his fur, Brightkit was eavesdropping on the conversations his father was having, but didn't seem to care less. He was more focused on cleaning his fur from the dirt that was in it. He was playing around in the dirt and some got in his fur. Although, he did like to get messy where Jadeheart had to clean him, Brightkit didn't want Jadeheart to be mad at him. Brightkit, still cleaning his fur, he looked forward, wondering if any kits had left the nursery.

Sighing a bit, no apprentices had came to the elder's den to check for their ticks and fleas, Hailwhisker did feel like she had a couple on spots where she couldn't reach. She didn't have much company, but she did have Alligatorbite, the grumpy cat. All elders are grumpy, but Hailwhisker was a kind she-cat. She was not as bitter as the older tom. Looking over her shoulder at Alligatorbite, she felt like striking up a conversation, although she might get a bit of cruel words spat at her. When do you think those apprentices are going to come here? Do you think their mentors are just training them or going out on patrols with them? If so, I think they should tell their apprentices to do other duties. She snorted a bit.

Maple was looking out of her den from a window. The same window she loved to watch her owners play outside with a strange round colorful sphere. It was amusing to her, but she could never go out there to play with them. She didn't understand why she could not. Was it dangerous outside? She had claws and teeth to defend with, as well as her owners. It surely couldn't be that dangerous, right? Jumping down, her eyes turned towards the door of where her owners would go out to go outside in the world. The door had swung up suddenly, making Maple flinch a bit. She saw her chance to go outside and ran for it. Running out of her den, she saw that the door had closed behind her. Thinking that her owners did not see, she was in relief, hoping that they would not realize of her actions.

The rogue crept towards a rabbit, juicy prey just for him. Knowing that he was on clan territory, he did not care. At least they would know they have one less prey for them. His eyes focusing on it, he quickly leaped towards the rabbit, however missing the shot and being a mouse-length away from it. The rabbit knowing of his presence quickly ran off in a direction. Adder hissed something quietly in anger, wanting to catch that rabbit. Although, he could've ran for it, it was probably far away from him now. Adder was starving since this morning and today was just filled with misfortune. Each prey he tried to catch was not successful at all.

The white she-cat was looking for some prey, crouching down in the damp grass, trying to hide her white fur that always stuck out. Her white fur was not helpful to finding prey and getting away from predators, they would always see her white fur stick out. She sighed a bit from the thought, but kept moving forward. She knows of the clan cats, the fierce cats that would roam around the swamps in search of prey like herself. They would not let loners like her in 'their territory'. And one day, that will all change.. She hissed under her breath, remembering her encounter with a clan cat.

Moth eyed the bush down, seeing it rustle at random times when she looked at it. Did the prey know of her presence? Or was it doing something else? No matter, she would catch what she would find anyways. Stepping one more time, Moth knew she was ready to pounce on what she found. Jumping into the bush, squishing a squirrel, hearing its squeals of terror in fright. She felt a bit bad for the piece of prey, but it was still prey, it had to be caught, so she could eat it and survive. She bit the prey, watching it struggle, but slowly stop.

The small aged tom was hoping to go on patrol today, but sadly all the patrols seemed to be leaving camp already. He didn't care much, seeing as it had only been 3 moons since he became a warrior. Ryestalk wanted an apprentice badly, but since his age, it wouldn't work out for him and his apprentice at all. The young warrior would still have a lot to learn from the senior warriors that already have an apprentice. Being patient was a difficult trait for him to have, seeing how nervous he can get and how jumpy he is just now.

(Should Blizzard be seen by that hunting patrol in the swamp?)

But Brightkit, when you're apprenticed and get your mentor, you will need to do things for yourself. I will always be your mother and I will always love you." She said calmly looking at him. "And I will not hesitate to throw myself into danger if one of you kits were injured by an enemy." She said. She was excited to become a warrior again but there was still 3 moons to go.
