Kodi is very social. She is also a little arrogant and over-the-top, but that probably comes from her profession as a magician. Outside of that, she's very sweet (especially to those who compliment her) although she isn't very mindful of personal spaces, being a little cuddly. Kodi loves to make others smile and feels inferior when she fails to make someone laugh, so one frown can make herself feel lesser. She gets insecure that easily. She can be a bit of a humorist, usually with cheese-themed jokes and puns, and doesn't mind being teased for her cheesy appearance. Anything to make others feel better for themselves, even if it means they could think less of her. She's all for entertainment and making others feel good, even in daily conversation. She's an excellent source for motivation and self-positivity. Her open personality makes her very trusted, and she's no one to double-cross you when you believe in her.

About the Occupation;;
Being a magician isn't that hard, according to Kodiak. All it takes is some confidence and a little trick of the light. Your hands need to be swift and your fingers nimble, making sure not to lose your grip at any moment. In general, she enjoys the occupation she picked up as a hobby. When she finished education and couldn't find any other job, she had already walked up and down the streets doing magic. A local family restaurant noticed her talent and hired her as an entertainer. Along with it, she had to learn to sing and even dance a little. A coworker played music on a keyboard beside her stage. Kids loved that.

Kodi enjoys her occupation and loves a good round of applause. She's a complete and utter sucker for compliments too, and will even add to them with something like an 'of course I'm great!' instead of saying a polite 'thank you.' She loves making others happy and smile, too. Hugs are something she'll never tire of either, and when she gets a hug from someone else she feels on top of the world. Obviously, she loves cheese, too, and will string cheese puns together when someone mentions how cheesy she looks. She's drenched herself in cream cheese once too for laughs.

Disikes;;
Not everything puts a smile on Kodi's face. She absolutely hates when her tricks aren't enough or when her jokes aren't funny enough. It intimidates her. She also doesn't like vaikis who challenge her to the point of being annoying when she performs her magic tricks, people who go 'it's just strings and smoke and mirrors!' or 'why don't you just levitate yourself instead of that tennis ball?' She usually responds with a shrug and a grin, but deep down she simply wonders why people bother. Tricks are for kids anyway. She also dislikes pineapple on pizza, despite all the cheese.

History;;
Kodi didn't grow up very bright. She wasn't one of the smartest children, and like a kid in a swimming pool, it took all her might not to get submerged - in bad grades, that is. Sometimes her head would go under and she would need to study another two nights to get just above average. It was rare that she got the best of grades.

While she wasn't the best academically, she still managed to stay a pretty bright child and loved games. She wanted to learn all sorts of things, like playing music, singing, dancing, skydiving, parkour - and even magic tricks. Her parents found a way to incorporate school materials into various activities, and while doing those activities, Kodi was able to finally learn. Her grades gradually lifted, and by the time she graduated, she was free to do whatever she wanted.

At first, she wanted to be a piano teacher. During her last few years as a student, she took piano courses. As much as she loved being with kids and the idea of teaching them, though, whenever she talked to her teacher about piano lessons, he would say that Kodi was one of the few kids who were actually enthusiastic in learning to play - most lost interest sooner or later and treated piano like a chore. Kodi didn't want to be part of a chore.

Sooner or later Kodi decided to become a street magician, along with taking up odd jobs. Eventually, she felt like her tricks were good enough to attract lots of people - once, she managed to gain a crowd of two or three dozen people on a small podium. A family restaurant hired her as an entertainer, which brings Kodi to where she is now.

About the Adopter;;
Hello! I'm aviate, and I currently own three vaikis: Dante, Genos and Denali. A fourth vaiki if you count an unmade custom. Since vaikis are a really fun species, I've decided to be careful with the species and not go insta-adopting designs I don't connect to or won't end up using/developing. This vaiki, however, really caught my eye!

Developing Kodi and drawing her was a process I thoroughly enjoyed, and I really hope to win her! Her concept was really fun to think up, and even if I don't win I think I will use her concept again, perhaps with a few changes. If I do win her, however, I will do my best to stay active with her, especially within the lovely community! While I'm no roleplayer, or at least not a literate one, I would use Kodi through headcanons and chat-based RPs through Skype with my friends, as well as traditionally sketch her a lot.
