"I've been alright, I don't know about Crystal though. I mean, long story short, me and her were separated into different clans when we showed up, but yesterday Mistystar asked my sister if she wanted to join us in Mistclan. Crystal said yes, and Mistystar just placed her beside me when I was asleep. But yeah, she was in Darkclan... Although I don't think she's turned into bullies like them." Nightpaw replied to his fellow apprentice. "How's your training with Roseclaw going? I saw you and her going to the training hollow at sunrise today."

Crystal nodded, feeling upset because her brother had to speak for her. Why did he have to go and say Darkclan took me in? Everycat's going to think I'm bad! the thought circled her mind, sighing softly because she couldn't talk yet.

"Oh. Well, welcome to MistClan," he meowed to Crystal with a small grin. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to have to live with DarkClan. "Roseclaw? To be honest, I don't really like her. Maybe our relationship will get better as my training furthers, but right now... eh. I don't know. There could be worse mentors, I suppose."

"Yeah, she can get snappy. It's her first time though." he looked around camp for Roseclaw and spotted her hiding in shade up in a abnormally high tree beneath racks of leaves. He couldn't see her shadowed body: only her vibrant snake-like eyes which were scanning territory like an eagle searching for prey [XD writing overload!]. "It's going to be hard for her to settle in. You know, she's young and doesn't talk yet.. But when we were little, we communicated to each other through body language. She does understand what we're saying right now, but we stopped doing that when we got separated. I wonder if she remembers... I'll try a bit with her." Nightpaw said, shuffling to face Crystal. He crouched down, tail up and twitching towards the ground with squinted eyes. The black tom raised, watching her response to 'Wanna play?'.

Crystal smiled back with a bright purr. Then she noticed her brother do something she recognised. Their old communication language! The she-kit dipped her head and tumbled towards him neatly to say "Yes". The two leaped at each other softly, claws sheathed. Nightpaw pinned his sister down, laughing as she pushed his face with her gentle paws. He made a strange movement with his head to signal 'Stop'. And at that, they got up and looked at Crowpaw. "I asked her "Do you want to play?" at first. Then she said "Yes" and then I signaled "Stop". Like it?" Nightpaw said broadly to Crowpaw.

Crowpaw hmmed before following Nightpaw's gaze to Roseclaw who was on a tree. He removed his gaze from her and turned back to the two siblings. They did some odd movements, and Crowpaw didn't know what it meant until Nightpaw jumped on Crystal and they tussled for a moment before stopping because of a head gesture from Nightpaw. "I got the gist of it. It was interesting."

"Thanks. Doesn't Roseclaw look so intimidating up in that oak tree? You can't even see the sleek shape of her shiny pelt, only her amber-slitted gaze." Nightpaw pointed out, observing Crystal growl in the air. "What is it?"

Crystal kept on snarling at the weird sound she'd never heard before lurking around her. She told her brother through body language what the matter was and pounced suddenly, tackling imaginary things with her claws. She tried to hiss but instead, Crystal let out a noise which wasn't normal. Nightpaw held back snorts and giggles and watched her roll on the floor.

"It looks more like she's hiding then intimidating," Crowpaw said flatly, uncomfortable with the topic. He looked again at Crystal when she started to do another secret communication thing and then started fighting things that weren't there. "She's okay, right?" He asked unworriedly. Nightpaw would no doubt be calling on the medicine cat if what was happening was bad. Seeing Nightpaw on the verge of laughter assured Crowpaw that it mustn't be negative.

"Yeah, she's okay. She said it's a strange thing she can hear but it's invisible." Nightpaw got closer to the tom and whispered in his ear softly, "It's the wind. She can't remember what it is." he mewed to him, then jumped a step to Crystal. 'Calm down, it's harmless. It won't hurt you.' he touched noses with her, closing his eyes for trust. That was the calm down part. Then he shook his head as in no, and raised a paw with claws unsheathed.

Crystal let her bristled fur and tense muscles relax at the warmth of her brother's nose. The atmosphere in Mistclan seemed more comfortable than Darkclan's. She looked aside, realising what she was doing was pointless. The young cat stood, shaking dirt off her.

Crowpaw nodded in explanation at Nightpaw's explanation. He wondered if he could do anything, but Nightpaw seemed to have the situation under control. "Can I help in any way?" He asked, not just referring to the occurring situation, but maybe something else.

"Uh, I guess you could help me make a new nest for Crystal in the nursery." Nightpaw said with a smile, "I've already borrowed some spare leaves and moss from my bed, so you can quickly fetch some snapped sticks. Come on, sis." he pushed the moss to Crystal and carried them to the nursery, dropping them in a small corner which was the only space left. He watched as she struggled to get it across so he went back, got it and helped her put it next to the leaves.

She grinned. A nest! In Darkclan, they didn't have other kits so there was no nursery. She had to sleep in the Sharpclaws' den on the cold stone ground. Crystal tried to do the same as Nightpaw, but couldn't. She sneezed before trailing after her brother to help him put it in the den.
