Khoshekh loved this path, for whatever reason it was almost always devoid of woodland critters, he took this time to listen to his blood pumping, his heart beating, he subversed himself into the things he couldn't concentrate on normally, the sound of leaves under his feet, the sounds of the world, it was quiet enough to hear a pin drop, then he heard the "ssssst" of a plant's leaf dragging across something. Adrenaline was like a drug to him, he let the fear get to his head, he let himself get paranoid, that, after all is what he's good at, it could be a deadly mountain lion, someone with a In the dark, using very simple slight of hand, he grabbed the can of Pepsi that was in the side pocket of his backpack, he shook it around a little in his hands, a devious plan was in his head, only a someone so full of adrenaline and paranoia could concoct. However, he would hold off on his Pepsi-plan for now He generally liked his odds about the Pepsi-plan, if something WAS following him, the Pepsi-plan would help, if he was just being paranoid like usual, and he enacted the Pepsi-plan, nothing really would happen. No harm, no foul. It was things like these that he loved thinking about, ways to ease himself out of danger, while still staying paranoid, pumped full of adrenaline, and on his toes, thanks to the uncertainty. It was similar to a certain German scientist's hypothetical cat. He was rather fond of cats actually. They were so much more lovable than dogs, due to certain circumstances.
Khoshekh uselessly rambled on like this for a rather long time, though that is completely relative, depending on who you ask.
Gen 32:30 states “…for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”
John 1:18 states, “No man hath seen God at any time…”
". . . God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man."
(James:1:13)
"And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham."
(Genesis 22:1)
". . . for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger forever."
(Jeremiah 3:12)
"Ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn forever. Thus saith the Lord."
(Jeremiah 17:4)

Sorry if I write in run-on sentences, it's a habit I'm trying to drop
