Personality: Calypso is a spunky little thing. She loves to gallop through the field for no reason at all. Tossing her Mane, and kicking up her heels. She is used for show jumping, but excels in dressage. Her fantastic flowy movements win over any judge. She has tried cross country but can't get over the fact she is not in an arena. She hates trails, because she is afraid a mountain lion will leap out and grab her. She likes to be in groups of horses of three or more. She prefers stalls to open fields, but has to have a turn out. She loves to have loads of attention. The more the merrier. Calypso can be arrogant, especially when showing or when a stallion is in the near by field.

When Calypso was 4 years old she was being braided up for her first dressage show. She could feel the stress in the air, everyone was prepping for the show. Calypso's owner knew that they could succeed with just the right amount of pushing. She grabbed the saddle, and tossed it onto Calypso's back, and then slipped the bit into her mouth. She kissed Calypso between the eyes, and whispered words of confidence into her warm fluffy ears.
She led Calypso over to the mounting block and mounted her. Calypso was buzzing with energy, she was excited and knew how much this meant to her owner. Calypso forced her legs into an extended trot and trotted into the arena. By the end, the judges were amazed and Calypso placed first out of twenty horses.

Personality; Gentle, loving animal. When not competing is helping children recover form injuries. She is a barrel racer at heart, but still loves to jump and run with the other horses,she is also the lead mare in her small herd. Owner hopes to one day breed her because of her skill, and beauty. Her best non-horse friend is Purple the orange tabby cat that lives in the barn.

Extra; She has trouble with her front left hoof due to a jumping accident, she hit her hoof on a stone and cracked it severely, both she and her owner are heart-broken due to the fact that she won't be able to compete for two weeks.
