Bitternpaw searched the crowd of cats for Wolfpaw, trying to find her gray pelt among the dense smoke. He finally spotted her at the front of the group with Shrikestorm, and bounded forward, pushing through his clanmates. "Wolfpaw!" he said, relieved. He bumped heads with her, grinning like an idiot.

Shrikestorm led the group, his face completely flat. His mind races with possibilities of what might happen when they reached MountainClan.

When she heard her name she quickly looked behind her. "Bitternpaw!" She said relieved as well. She wanted to cry, she was so happy. She rubbed her head all over his face, neck, and back. "I'm so glad your ok! I was so worried! I thought something might have happen to you." She said. It was obvious she had missed him and had been worried.

Bitternpaw accepted Wolfpaw's gestures of kindness with joy. "I know. I felt the same." A purr rumbled in his chest as he rubbed against her side. "I'm glad you're alright. Where did you go?"

╚════════════════════════════════╝ hollyfoot's fur raised at the sight of the cats, but she let it lay flat as she remembered they had made a temporary alliance. she coughed, eyes still watering from the smoke. she met up with who she remembered being deputy- shrikestorm. "what happened to you guys?" she panted.

╚════════════════════════════════╝ after being chased by the badger, he thought he had caught the sight and smell of his clan, but he has gotten turned around in a place that he didn't regonize. giving up on searching for his clanmates, he padded along side a river bank, stopping to look into the stream. his black pelt was covered in grey ash, and his underbelly was singed from the fire. he dipped his face gently into the water, taking a deep breath. his eyes watered, not from the smoke, but from losing his clan. he stood up, continuing to pad along the bank until he reached the edge of the forest, where he spotted twolegplace in the distance.

"I was in camp. I had to make sure everyone was out before I could leave." She said before turning away to cough before turning back to him and continuing to rub her cheek on his. She didn't know what she would have done if he hadn't made it.

Shrikestorm's anxious thoughts were scattered by someone talking to him. "Huh?" He turned to face the MountainClan warrior- Hollyfoot. He remembered meeting her at a gathering once. "Oh." He took a deep breath, clearing his throat. "Forest fire." He glanced behind him nervously, making sure the fire had stopped at the border. "We need to stay here until we're sure that it's completely done with." He glanced behind him again. "Foxstar should be back there somewhere, and..." Shrikestorm scanned the crowd, confused, then panicked. "Where's Dusktail?" he asked to no one in particular. He limped along the line of cats, but the medicine cat had gone missing. Vinepaw was there, holding a large bundle of herbs, but no sign of Dusktail. He limped rapidly back to Hollyfoot, his eyes searching the woods behind them, hoping to catch a glimpse of the dark pelt among the trees. "And now our medicine cat is missing." He hung his head, ashamed and frustrated.

Bitternpaw smiled happily at Wolfpaw. "That's amazing," he whispered. Suddenly, all smells OakClan had vanished. "We're in MountainClan territory," he whispered, looking around in awe.

Wolfpaw smiled proudly. She looked around once he said they weren't in OakClan territory anymore. She pressed up against him as much as she could. It made her feel safe. Hopefully Bitternpaw didn't think it was weird. Hopefully he didn't push her away or pull away from her.

╚════════════════════════════════╝ the large tom was covered in grey ash from the fire, and he looked around at his misshapen clan. he stood beside his deputy, listening to what the she- cat from mountainclan had to say. he was a bit embarrassed that his clan had to take shelter in another clans camp, but he just gave in. he looked down, ashamed and annoyed at what had just taken place. the fire didn't seem to be spreading past their border, so that was one less thing to worry about. he followed closely behind the dark pelted warrior, following along the path towards the neighboring clan.

╚════════════════════════════════╝ hollyfoot tilted her head in slight confusion as shrikestorm commented that their medicine cat was missing. she remembered that oakclan had two medicine cats, but she figured that he had meant the black pelted tom, dusktail. "okay, well, you guys can come with me then. I'll have to tell rushstar about you guys, but I'm sure we have enough room.." the she- cat sounded a little unsure at her last comment, but she quickly turned around, beginning to lead the homeless clan towards her camp.

╚════════════════════════════════╝ dusktail's ears twitched nervously, and he quickly glanced behind his shoulder, making sure he didn't see his clan. his head sunk and he took one last smell of the fresh forest smell. he padded out of the forest and into the open field, towards twolegplace. he remembered hearing about some kittypet's that lived there from his dreams, so perhaps he could find them. he didn't want to leave his clan, but he knew it wasn't safe, and he could feel that the forest fire that destroyed the camp was just a warning from starclan. they were just getting started.

╚═══════════════════════════════╝ the cream pelted apprentice eventually caught up with the clan, searching the crowd for windpaw, he spotted the she- cat and padded up next to her, shaking his dirty pelt. the group had crossed over the thundertrack, where the centipede- monster occasionally came treading down. they were now in a different territory and he felt uncertain, unwelcome.

╚════════════════════════════╝ the she- cats wounds ached after she ran so fast. the herbs that dusktail had previously placed on her pelt had fallen off and now she was in great pain from her struggle with the badger. she padded after her clanmates, following them into mountainclan territory.

He followed the clan into the territory not happy about entering another clans territory.


Vine paw

He began following his clan before quickly setting the herbs he had down and running away. He sadly felt useless with out his mentor so he wanted to search for him.

Cherry/Candy

Cherry smiled remembering how to get back to the two leg place so she quietly told Candy they were going going back home gladly getting a grin in response from Candy. They soon turned around and began going back.
