I would get someone to get your inhaler for you, asthma attacks are no joke. Better than having to go to the er, right?

being asthmatic myself, i can help!
don't work too hard
go sit somewhere, and take deep breaths
if you can regulate your breathing and try to distract yourself it'll help stop it
sip a hot drink, caffeine is metabolized into theophylline, which is also a drug
that’s used to prevent and treat asthma by relaxing the airways.
or talk to someone; it can help distract you.
good luck, asthma is the worst and i hate it so much <3
For me it's rarely the kind of sudden attack-like symptoms, but more like.. a gradual and long lasting shortness of breath and coughing and it's just.. more annoying than anything else, really, and I don't expect it to get so bad that I'd need to see a doctor or worry but eh. It's been going on for about 2 days now. At first I forgot to ask my dad to help me get the table out of the way (I slept pretty much all of the day, too), but now he seems to be on edge about something I supposedly did and idk.. I don't want to talk to him because I really don't want to deal with that toxic attitude right now. But now my mom has gone to sleep and my brother wouldn't even listen to me.

I can't help it. Whenever I'm yelled at (like in trouble yelling not someone getting my attention yelling) I just shut down. I don't talk, I'm very mousey and timid, and 9/10 times I cry. I know it's a defense mechanism for me, but it doesn't help when the person gets angrier because I'm not replying. I honestly hate myself for this defense mechanism. I wish I didn't have it.

It's usually not that easy for me. And I honestly don't know when it started happening. I think it might have shown up when my stepdad was around because he was mentally abusive and would yell when he was angry. I don't know. I just don't like it. And my mom doesn't like it when she's trying to have a conversation with me and I'm shut down.

I worked on a report for so many hours, put so much effort in it. It caused so much pressure and stress. The paper got lost. I handed it in a month ago. I got a 10 on it. My grade dropped 4 points. I'm not failing but I put so much effort into the paper for nothing. And even worse, we have to read our paper to a partner. I got nothing to read. I emailed my teacher, he hasn't responded. I don't know what to do

Dang, I hate it when that happens. You don't have it saved anywhere?

Nope. After I printed I just exited the tab instead of saving.

My hamster David passed away in his sleep last night.
I've been crying all day. He wasn't sick, just elderly. He was really old for a hamster. He died while he was asleep, so he didn't experience any pain or behavioral changes beforehand. My other hamster is fine, but I'm sure he's feeling the loss of our dear little friend.
Today is a very sad day.
