You stand on a concrete driveway, staring up at a huge building. You have a bag on your shoulders. You're nervous about going inside. But you're also excited!
You almost leap out of your skin when a hand softly lands on your shoulder. You look around to see a taller woman. Her expression is amused as she notices your confused look.
"Welcome to the Academy. Here is where you can be yourself without worrying about teasing or bullying. I hope you enjoy it here. Oh, you better go get checked in before it's too late! I'm Principle Eiro [ee-rr-oh], by the way." The woman smiles kindly and walks ahead of you, through a path in the circular garden that adorned the front of the mansion looking school.
You square your shoulders and put on a determined expression, following the principle inside of the building. Here is where you'll get checked in and your dorm assigned. You hope you end up with someone decent, if their dorms are shared. The school didn't have a website, your parents had only found out about it through a brochure or flier or something. But they had told you that this was the place to be treated equally, no matter your talents. They had said that here everyone's talents are brought to the light.
These thoughts excited you. You know your parents had said so much more about the school, but you didn't need more. You were already wanting to get into the school as soon as possible.

Here's the gist of what's going on, incase anyone needs a more indepth explanation:
- You're a new/old student
- This is a mutant/wizard/witch/etc school.
- There are a total of four slots for regular humans; more will be explain later
- You can share a dorm or have your own. Due to the school being a very large campus, there is a lot of room for students and rooms.
G&T Academy layout:
The school looks like a huge mansion. When you walk in, there's a large room that would be the foyer. At the back of the foyer is a grand staircase that leads in two directions. A large window adorns the wall above the staircase. It gives a nice view of the pool that is used for swimming practice (And used for teaching water elementals). The staircase leading up on the left leads to the wing of dorms. There are two floors, long hallways, with decent sized rooms that have their own bathrooms, dressers, beds, mirrors, etc. (You are allowed to decorate your room as you please, as well as the outside of your door). The staircase leading to the right of the foyer leads to several large classrooms. Up here is Chemistry, History (American, World, Western, etc. Each type have their own classroom), biology, science (General, like periodic table, elements, motion, etc), and Mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus I, Calculus II, each level has its own dedicated classroom). Back down into the foyer. Hanging high above the red rug that adorns the polished wooden floor is a chandelier (Image it as you will). To the right, before the staircase, another hall leads for several yards before a sharp turn that follows the flow of the building (Which is a U shape; this hall is also right under the hall that the right side of the staircase leads to). In this hallway are several more classes (English, literature, language arts, Creative writing, Journalism; Different classroom for each area), Offices (Guidance councilor, Principle, Assistant principle, nurse/s, teachers' lounge). There is also a door in this wing leading to the outside where the pool is. But first, back to the foyer. The hall to the left, opposite the right hall, is a small flight of stairs that makes a turn and leads into the gym room. A few gym rooms, actually. All the same size, but with different things within. The first gym is used for PE class, for those who want to take PE. The second gym is used for Weight Training, with a section within for weights and a whole area for running (There is also a track outside to the left of the building. This gym is on the far side closest to it with doors directly inside the gym leading to the track. The hall used to get to these gyms also has a door at the end of it to get to this track.). In the third gym is general exercise and play, with basketball hoops in the gym along with several other things. This is not a class and is generally used as an on-campus hangout space. Back to the foyer, down the right hall and out to the space between the hallways where the pool sits. The pool is a clearwater pool, with a good filter. There are chemicals in the water to keep it clean, namely chlorine (So try not to open your eyes too much under water! Goggles are provided for those who ask.). The pool is used for several different things. When there are no classes present, students are free to swim as they please, so long as a lifeguard is on duty. When there are classes, the pool is often used for swim practice, or water elementals learning to control their power. Behind the academy building is a large lake, which many students go down there for fishing or just to enjoy it. It is unadvised to swim in this lake, as there is a complete dropoff a few feet from the shore, unless you are an excellent swimmer (Ask one of the on duty pool staff to test your swimming ability if you haven't done so already.). Back, once again, to the foyer of the building, and up to the left where the dorms are, right at the top of the staircase, the first door is a double door with a window. Within these doors is a large library with thousands of books, and at least one new book every week. Inside the library are multiple floors. Several book shelves line the walls of the large room, as well as in rows. Above these shelves on the floor are walkways, guarded with white railings. Atop these walkways along the walls are more shelves, to house the many books the school acquires weekly. Also within this library are areas for reading, such as couches and tables with chairs. There's also a computer area, mainly used for research, but also often used for students with free time who want to play computer games.
More may be added to this as I think of more to put on the campus.
