This world is no longer just. There is no law. There are no morals. There is simply the stench of death and the rare appearance of life.

Are you scared? Are you paranoid? Are you jealous of the people that are already dead, but not brave enough to end your life? Where is your family? Where are your friends? Are they dead? Or are they alive, but too greedy to even remember that you exist? These questions are floating in your head, a constant passenger in your mind. Will you be passive and ignore these questions? Will you leave your emotions and dark thoughts in a room in your head where you no longer enter? It doesn't matter. You either become strong or stay weak. Live or die. Your only two options.

It is 2047 on the planet Earth. One year prior, the world went to Hell. One person ultimately ended the world fueled only by his knowledge and hate. He was an unknown man, considered only a normal person - nothing notable about him. Infecting himself with a substance infused with radioactive substances and other chemicals, he successfully started the beginning of a world-wide apocalypse. Taking on a violent demeanor, he began to bite other people. Bite victims were then infected and took on the same demeanor. The victims then evolved- their stomachs no longer craved regular nutrients. Eating only meat off of animals and people, the victims rapidly killed. Only a smaller portion of the world if left. The people surviving have come to know the victims as predators and call them "Torrances." There is no definite origin of the word, but it is the most commonly used word.
