Also, I was thinking about a nursery? What if shadows bred instead of dolls? Like two shadows would find or make an item that represents both of them, then the shadow they made would find a doll that goes with it? That idea looked better in my head then in words but idk someone else might be able to find a way to make it work.
ah, that's actually a pretty creative idea, but like before, we've discussed the idea of a nursery many times and always come back to the same conclusion that for the time being, the artists here don't have enough time to do nursery batches. i'm sure that in due time when hoshi and all the dollhouse artists are able to put aside the time the community will be asked for input about how a nursery and all that jazz would work, though!!

Well it you would go with the them there could be a doll maker that makes smash ups of dolls, those thier children would stay children sized -shrug- idk
ah i think this is a cool idea, but i think the whole point of dolls not being able to have babies was because each doll is custom made and trying to make custom babies for custom dolls would be hard. dollhouse isn't really like a lot of the animal adopts you see here on cs, these characters aren't designed so that they could be turned into baby makers later on, you know? plus we'd probably have to get a whole new batch of artists to make the babies, or call on current artists we have right now, and that's just a lot of work orz
correct me if i'm wrong, though. this just seems like a idea that'd be good on paper and work out terribly when we tried it.

there is the nursery discussion 'w' if you look in the archives there is a section for a nursery, but like i said a few times up above, no one has time right now, especially not with everyone going back to school around this time after winter break. i think mayhaps we should all be a little more patient for the time being, there are plenty of other things you can do with your dolls for the meantime!!
