Bluesoul, Darkflame, Frostfeather, Tigermoon, Mysticwater, Pantherleaf, and Lightningpaw all gathered beneath the Highstone.

Leafstar looked down at her small clan. She realized that many cats were out in the forest. Her tail lashed in dismay. They needed to get rid of the badger quick and neat, but she couldn't leave the camp unguarded. She waited for the rest of the clan to gather.

AceStorm folded back her ears with a slight stretch of her tail,then she looked around at her clanmates; worried at how small the clan looked..

DawnStream was the only queen to come out of the nursery it seemed,and she gathered by the highstone. But,she didn't sit still for now. The blue eyed she cat walked over to GaleKit and picked up her up out of the way of an incoming tail hit to the face.

GaleKit looked up at LeafStar, but then she felt some grab her by the shoulders. "Eek!" She squeaked,but then she noticed it was just DawnStream moving her out of the way from get hit in the face by AceStorm's tail.

Leafstar looked around once more. Not many warriors in camp. She sighed, then meowed so all could hear. "Acestorm has just notified me that a badger has made its home near the camp. In these times, we must show no mercy. We must deal with this quickly and cleanly. I need a team of warriors to go out and hunt down this enemy." Her gaze flicked over the cats gathered. "Tigermoon, Forestpaw, Acestorm and Stormberry come with me. Bluesoul you are in charge while I'm gone."

AceStorm nods and looks at all the cats her leader listed coming with them.

Leafstar lept down and trotted to the camp entrance. "Acestorm, your infront. Lead us to the badger den!" She called as she walked.

Tigermoon nodded and ran after his mother.

Bluesoul nodded and watched the patrol leave before padding over to Dawnstream. "Would you mind watching over Thunderkit until they come back?" She asked. "He's sleeping in the nursery."

Thistlepaw sat in the clearing, eating a vole. A badger was wonderful news. It just meant his father would be more over protective of him than usual.

"Hey, Galekit!" Fallstorm called from outside the medicine den, "Want to come help me sort herbs?" He enjoyed the kits company. Plus, it didn't hurt to give her something to do, with no littermates.

Sunpaw kept pace with her brother and the warriors easily. She was small, but fast. She was built to run.

"Eep! Yes i'd love to!" The small grey kit squeaked. "DawnStream,is it ok if i go help FallStorm sort the herbs?" GaleKit asked.

"Okay,just as long as you don't run into anymore deathberry leafs and no more sneaking off." DawnStream meowed.

Fallstorm turned and padded into the den.

Leafstar followed close behind Acestorm, her fur already bristling along her spine.

Tigermoon's paws thundered on the forest floor as he followed a step behind his mother and leader. He lashed his tail, excited for the battle. He's rather it be deathclan scum, but a badger will do.

"Sure." DawnStream replied, going back to the nursery to take careof ThunderKit.

GaleKit squeaked in excitement and wobbled back over towards the medicine cats den.

AceStorm had finally found the den,and she froze in front of it; the badger scent was strong this time, but the smell of blood suddenly filled her senses.
