"yes, you can go if you want, minnowpool had about the same damage as you and she's just been ordered to rest for at least a moon in the warrior's den, so I would order the same for you." he mumbled. his head snapped around at what shrikestorm said next and he stood up, slowly padding towards the deputy, his head cocked. "I.. I would like to share, but I'm sure you'll know soon enough.. now go, get some rest and quit wasting your time with a loony like myself."

She nodded and crept out of the bushes to the stream. She spotted a small flash of black and she leaped up a tree, afraid. She was shivering and looked at Minkpaw, "W-was that the badger?" she stammered and waved her tail, making soft whooshes.

╚═══════════════════════════════╝ minkpaw's eyes widened when he thought he saw the thing they were hunting, and he definitely smelled it. he nodded up at windpaw, slowly and uneasily padding out of the fern bush to get a closer look at where the badger was. he searched the threes and bushes, he could smell the beast, although he couldn't see it at all.

Bitternpaw's fur stood on end until Wolfpaw's voice reached his ears. It took a minute, but it eventually settled back down as he turned to face her. "I'm fine," he said shakily. "Just a bad dream."

Shrikestorm nodded, hesitating before leaving Dusktail to himself. He yawned as he padded over to the warriors' den, but discovered that, as he settled down in his moss bed, he wasn't really that tired. He stayed awake as he tossed and turned.

Wolfpaw looked at him worriedly. She pulled herself into a sitting position, facing Bitternpaw. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked giving him a kind smile. She was glad it wasn't because she slept near him. That'd make it weird for her to explain.

╚════════════════════════════════╝ dusktail sighed as his company left and he turned back to organizing some herbs among the shelves and crevices in his den. he padded outside, taking a deep breath of air as he was beginning to feel a little cooped up. he walked out of camp, unblinking, his green eyes wide. he could smell many things in the air as he opened his mouth to scent. badger, other cats, the delicious smell of fresh prey and the smell of something.. burning? he stopped, his head lifted up and his ears perked, his eyes even wider than before. he had seen the signs, why had he not shared with his deputy?

After unsuccessful attempts to sleep, Shrikestorm got up out of his nest and limped over to Dusktail, who seemed distinctly upset. "What's wrong, Dusktail?" he asked, tilting his head. He didn't even need an answer before he knew. The smell of smoke drifted into his nose, and his fur stood up on end. He ran immediately over to Foxstar's den, bursting inside. "Foxstar! Fire!"

Wolfpaw smiled and nodded in understanding. "Well, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here." She said tilting her head and closing her eyes. She kept her smile. She was always told smiles were a sign of friendship and peace. She was kinda glad he didn't mention or seem to notice she had curled up with him to sleep. She would have stayed awake, but he was so cute and peaceful when he slept that she couldn't help herself.

PatchPelt's nose shifted lightly at an odd scent. She wasn't fully sure what it was, but her motherly instincts tpld her that danger was coming. The queen quickly gave both of her kits a few licks over the face before getting up and grabbing hold of them by the scruff. PatchPelt carried the two outside, noticing that the Clan was rather nervous as well.

"Hey, stop-" PidgeonKit murmured through her sleep over PatchPelt's licks before being picked up. She didn't even have a chance to finish her sentence when PatchPelt carried her outside."Mama, what's going on?" The kit question, noticing how things seemed a bit... Off.

ShadowKit groaned tiredly when he felt his scruff being pulled."Mama, I'm still tired!" He complained while dangling from PatchPelts yaws.
