"Hey," he said, scooting his chair a little closer when he noticed tears come, wanting to roll down her cheeks only to be stopped by her hands as she whipped them away. It should have been him that whipped them away- or rather he shouldn't have been the one to cause them. "I don't know about you but the worst part was having to leave... I thought we had a great summer?" he asked, slightly confused. The male wasn't aware what exactly she had been crying about but Aaron had hoped he could guess. "My favorite was when we had to hide under the bleachers, remember that one night we snuck into the firework cupboard and lit a mortar off behind the councilors cabin? They were so freaked!" he laughed, trying to diverge the conversation, wondering what exact bad times she had been talking about.
Justin smirked as Macks tried to verbally defend hi position. "Macks- Macks- It's fine- Really," he laughed, the Alpha hadn't been mad he had just been worried and a little peeved at the crazy humans running free in the town. "Kay, Vanilla Latte and for you, Brooke?" he asked, snapping his finger and pointing at his Beta in the back seat. When she replied he nodded and ordered their beverages, his black coffee with a double espresso included. Blake toggled slightly with his stick shift as he sat bored, waiting for the coffee's to be ready- he had already forked over the cash and gotten a receipt. What was taking so long? Finally- the window opened to the drive through of the coffee shop and he passed the drinks out one at a time. "Vanilla Latte- Black coffee- and a Carmel Latte for Brooke," he repeated the order, in order as it came through the window of his Camaro. "So- Macks is skipping... I should probably get you a form for that... to waive your class attendances this year and all-" Justin said, trying to make a mental note for himself. "What's your first class Brook? Or i guess second now," he asked her, looking to her in his rear view mirror. Blake rolled up his window and set his coffee in its holder before taking off out of the parking lot. "And Macks, Where do you want me to drop you off at? Home?" he asked, curious what the brute had planned for his day without school.
Every bit of Avery's instinct fought not to snap Reed's wrist as he aimed the sharp object at her heart, but they were friends and only joking of course. Avery laughed lightly as it was probably an odd sight for Chloe- then again... Avery did pull a knife on her the first time they met. The girl waved a hand at the male werewolf hunter as a dismissal. "You know I do- Mr. free lance... " she jabbed him in the ribs with her elbow gently. She really had wished Cole was more interested in being apart of the community, it got lonely with so few members so an extra voice was always appreciated. "Are you coming to the meeting later?" she asked in a hushed tone as Chloe had yet to join them. Every year, the first night of school all of the werewolf hunters got together and discussed their findings over summer as typically they all vacationed, and spent a lot of time together otherwise. It was kind of a party... but more serious once they got down to discussing possible leads. They only had a few, most of which were on presumed Omegas as they had been jumpy and nervous around them during interactions but they had yet to pin point which of them was the leader. "Supposed to be some drinks- if ya know what I mean," she winked at him.
Sylvia cheered loudly as the classroom door slowly closed behind them, being swooped up and tossed over Christopher's shoulder. They were free! "Run then! But put me dooown!" she laughed, her palms pressing to his shoulder that was just under her belly. Hopping down as they were in the clear of the hallway, Sylvia skipped tactfully in her four inch high heels before she spun on heel and pointed at her pack mate. "I bet you cant catch me-" she laughed, blowing him a kiss before turning again and pushing open the side EXIT door open just in time. Once she was out, the girl kicked her shoes off and took off running to the tree lines- out of sight before shifting and continuing her game of hide and go wolf with Christian. The girl's heart fluttered as she waited on the inside of the tree line for her pack mate- where she would pounce on him and make him admit she was the ultimate ruler of all brutes- so she wished.
