Do you own a dog?: Yes c:

Favorite dog breed?: Blue Australian Shepherd

Tell us about your dog(s), if you have any!: My dog is a mix between a Weimaraner and a Catahoula Leopard Dog. Its a mouthful, but she is the sweetest dog ever. She is currently four years of age, and she is still pretty frisky. She loves running and is a very thin, fit dog. Her breed comes from Louisiana, and is known as a Swamp Dog. They are very skilled hunters, making them fit. She is medium sized and is smaller than a Labradoodle. She is very heavy, weighing around… 80 pounds. She is a female, and I love her to bits and pieces c:

Pictures of your dog(s): None currently, but there might be some in the future c:

night . wrote:Well. Today just turned from amazing to horrible. I got home to my mom crying when I hugged her. Got in the house, didn't see Rosie anywhere. Mom didn't want to tell me until I got back because I was having a good time with my brother and all. But I feel awful. I loved that dog. She said she got loose and probably went looking for me somewhere. They found her last Sunday on the road with just a collar on and her tags missing. I just don't know what to do right now, I can't believe she's gone and all I have left is her collar.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Any trick/training suggestions that I should do with Jett next? Looking for something that is not too difficult, but is somewhat fun and interesting. I'm thinking something like dropping a ball in a hoop, something like that :)

Today was a great day with training today!!!! I was SO proud of my Izzy girl! It really gives me hope when we have days like this :)
Today we went to the park with my nieces and older sister. I was a bit nervous because in the past Izzy has jumped on them and knocked them over while they were running around. I have been working with Izzy on not jumping on people while running. She tends to jump when you run or jog. Well, today when we were at the park she and my nieces were running around together. She didn't even try to jump on them, she ran nicely beside them and played with them.
Also fetch is coming a long great! For those of you who don't know, Izzy loves playing fetch but likes to tease you with the toy. She will run to you and then get close and sprint off and run circles around you. It was very annoying and frustrating. Today we played an excellent game of fetch! She brought it back and dropped it at my feet. She got really enthusiastic a few times and would drop it near by but I still praised her! Hopefully we can continue on this path.
Lastly, my older niece asked if she could ride her scooter with Izzy. I wasn't sure how Izzy would react around the scooter, and I was a bit nervous she would knock my niece over. But she did AMAZING! She stayed in a heel the entire time and never pulled her. She kept focus on my niece the whole time. She was actually very concerned when the scooter hit a rock and my niece fell. She licked her face when she started crying and my niece got back up and started again :) I got some cute pictures of them. But I am very proud of her!!!

Yep! It is Jazi's Creed!
If anyone is interested in seeing their dogs done like that, just shoot me a pm!
I'm willing to try any dog, but just a heads up that I've never done a long haired dog before.

*Username change! Wanted to let all of you know, I was surfer ;;.
Mowi is a nickname, long story short my brothers couldn't pronounce
my name when I was little so my dad started calling me what they
called me. Hope this wasn't much spam.*

I forgot to tell you guys, but... little Daze is almost ready to complete
her CGZ test! She gets "dog anxiety" [Something that was never a problem
with gretta] when she's without me for a while[Which the dog has to be able to be
handled my another person for the CGC test] so I've been leaving her home
alone for a while. First, an hour and a half, then two hours, three hours, go to a movie
(Four hours), and by then she was perfectly fine being without me. Which is good,
because Dazey is not a child, and doesn't need to go everywhere with me,
I mean seriously, I don't go bringing Gretta around everywhere, why would
I let Daze? btw, Gretta is already a CGC.

Super excited because.... I have always wanted to show a dog. But since
I own Goldendoodles (Which I do not regret), they are not purebred (And I do
not consider them purebred) so I cannot show them/compete with them (at least in
the shows/competitions in our area, I'm not driving 4 hours so my dog can be in a competitions.
However, a relative of mine who lives VERY near me owns a Portuguese Water Dog named
Black Jack [Blacky], and she doesn't have all that much time to train/exercise him (He is
very energetic, more than usual), and when I was talking to her about wanting to compete with
my dogs, she suggested I trained/competed with Black Jack! I'm thrilled, so excited to
start working in Rally-O with him!

        Hey guys!
Just a small update on Kaiser.

Well, for starters, he'll be 5 months old on the 12th! I'm not at all ready for him to grow up. He isn't allowed. No growing up for Kaiser.

On more of a serious note however, Kaiser and I are working towards novice trick dog. We probably have enough tricks under our belt to move onto intermediate, but we're apart of a spark team so we're taking our time and having fun in a group setting. :) This week we were given a list of 5 tricks which would equal to 6 points out of the 15 needed to move onto the next level (play dead counts as 2). Our ultimate goal is to get our champion title. Here is a video of the tricks from this week if you're interested! Yes, I'm in the video. No, you cannot see my face. As a small disclaimer, he had just learned play dead the night prior, and the muffin tin game is to help him begin scent-work.

Other plans include passing the Canine Good Citizen test and working towards champion in another dog sport. We plan to try out agility, rally-o, and obedience.

^ Awesome work Fascai and Kaiser! I love his playing dead, I like how he wants to stick his paws in the air, I'd have to try and get that on cue. And I like that you gave the Muffin Tin game a seasonal twist too.

How did you get involved in competing in trick dog competitions?
