Amai yelped and shot her hand back from the boiling pot. She turned on the sink and sighed in relief as the cold water cured her burn. Hearing scratches from the back door, and knowing who it was, she dried her hand off with a cloth and glanced around before quickly grabbing a small piece of cake then heading out back.

Kari backed up as the door opened and a human stepped out. Her tail swished in excitement as Amai leaned down, holding out a piece of cake in her hand. She gobbled it up hungrily, licking the last bits of it off her lips. Amai began to stroke her, and Kari walked small circles around the cook as she did so. Through the open door the sounds of someone entering could be heard. Amai stood and went back inside with a wave of goodbye back to the fox. Kari looked longingly at the door as it closed but shook it off and started to wander about the town, trying to avoid the villagers' gaze as she walked.

Furin strode aimlessly through the castle, having no real idea of where he was going but hoping it would be a place with some activity going on. As nice as having nothing to be done was, it was boring when he didn't know what to do with his time. He considered going to see the princess, but got rid of the idea quickly. If she did not call for him then she didn't need him.

Paton yawned and rolled over in his bed, looking at the rom upside-down. His tail wagged, it was rather funny to see the furniture appearing to be on the roof. As a knight passed by, he quickly got to his feet and ran after him. Furin looked down and chuckled, getting onto one knee and petting Paton. "Not going anywhere yet, buddy." He said. Paton's ears drooped as he learned that there was no mission to go on, but the knight's pets made him feel slightly better.

The head of the Knights stared out the window, his brown hair falling in his eyes. He had a glum look on his face, and his eyebrows furrowed as he continued to think. Sitting on the desk in front of him was a large scroll, a large, empty scroll. He sighed before pushing his chair back and standing up. Akira knew he needed some fresh air, any longer in the stuffy room and he would've exploded.
He crossed the room with long sweeping steps, steps of a proud man. As he reached the door he heard a knock, and pulled it open to reveal Hisa, his long term friend and Princess of his kingdom. He instantly bowed, his hair falling in his eyes.
"Hello your Highness." He whispered, before standing and smiling," Come in."

Hisa had decided. She missed Akira, and she knew she needed to see him. And see him was exactly what she would do. Hisa quickly escapaded through the Castle, reaching the Knight's housing. She passed rooms, with quite a lot stares. Knocking on Akira's door it was instantly pulled open. She watched as her long term friend bowed and quickly stood up, giving her a smile.
"Hello your Highness, Come in." He said and she followed him in.
As he close the door behind them Akira instantly hugged him," Akira!!" She practically screamed.
"Hisa." He mocked, sticking out his tongue.
"How are you Aki?" Hisa asked, sitting in one of his chairs and looking up with wide eyes.
"Oh, I'm fine, how are you?" Akira answered, sitting down himself.
"Great, I missed you so I decided I'd visit you. Do you want to do something today Akira?" She asked.
"Yes, Hisa. We can do something if you'd like." And with that Hisa dragged him out if his room and into the Market.

"Princess Hisa?" A maid called, as the group entered her chambers.
The maid group searched around, looking for the young girl, but she was no where to be found.
"PRINCESS Hisa?" Another maid asked," If you would please not hide."
They searched again, and yet still did not find anything. The head maid turned," Suki, have you seen Princess Hisa anywhere?"
"... Yes." Suki nodded, her black bun hitting her hair.
"Where?" The head maid snapped.
"When I was dusting... she left her chambers Ma'am."
"Do you know where too?" A younger maid asked.
"Yes- she turned towards the Knight's Housing.... but I only knew that because I followed her... I'm sorry!" Suki said.
"Thank you Suki. Alright, girls we need to get Princess Hisa back here okay?"

The maid sighed and brushed back straw colored strands of hair. She reached into her pocket and braided her hair; ever since it began growing back her shoulders, it'd been a pest. Clio held her basket tightly in the crook of her elbow, which contained new fabrics; she had taken an interest in sewing. Her old dress, used nearly everyday, was faded and torn in a few places. The once vibrant green looked like something a young child would spit up. Gross.

Clio took her time wandering through the kingdom's streets, knowing she wouldn't be needed anytime soon. She hoped. The thought of being yelled at caused a small jump in her heart. The blonde girl's thoughts turned to the tempting smell of baked treats, and she turned to the vendor. With a small smile and greeting, Clio happily exchanged a few coins for the freshly baked pastry. Clio walked on, savoring her pastry.

She looked in the mirror and saw that her hair was a mess. "Well this is why I want to tend brushing my hair myself.." she said lowly as she picked up her brush and started to brush her hair gently through the knots.

A boy was shaking around in his bed while beads of sweat slowly rolled down his face and soon the boy jumped before letting out a gasping of air. It was just a bad dream The boy confirmed before slowly getting up from his bed and changing into some light armour. The boy is none other than Saki, the infamous serial killer who has become a knight due to the prince convincing him which worked......fortunately.

That dream has been bugging me since I left the village Saki thought to himself before picking up his sheathed blood-sword and walking out of his house. And While walking through the street, Saki could feel gazes all pointed towards his direction like he was some sort of monster, No-one had changed it seems.....what a pity Saki scoffed before casually walking into a tavern.

After a few minutes of drinking beer, Saki just sat there and started thinking about how he got here, this caused Saki to be unaware of his surrounding as he slowly slept away into thought again

Nori ran his roughen fingers through his short, brown hair. They hesitantly touched the long scar that started from his scalp and moved to his forehead. Most people stared at it with intrigue or disgust, but he looked at it with pained memories of the night he received it. He would do anything for his kingdom. He would give up his life for his kingdom. The proof was on his face. He pushed away from his desk loaded with scrolls and wood carvings he carved himself. His business was tough when he isn't fighting a war. Maybe he would see the Earth Kingdom's head knight to make sure everything is as it's suppose to be. Or not. He didn't like leaving his knights or the royalty unprotected. He walked out of his den and into the hallways of the castle. It was quiet still, only the pitter-patter of the the house maids and cooks. As he headed down the winding hallways, a familiar face came into view. He lifted an eyebrow as he approached Furin, a knight under his watch. He stopped him with an inquisitive tone. Furin, isn't there something for you to do? He shook his head slowly and continued, not waiting for his answer. "I think Clio went into town. I am not sure if Lady Akemi needed anyone to assist her this morning, so please go check on her. Don't be intrusive either. I don't want to hear a report with your name on it. I am going into town to make sure all is well with Clio." The idea of the young maid in town wasn't very pleasant. He knew what kinds of people hung out there.

Kazumi Abe/Prince/Sky Kingdom/Tagged: Katsuo

Kazumi was bored. He laid on the plush, luscious mattress in his fancy, well dressed room. He flipped on his stomach with a groan. He couldn't stay in that spot any longer. He hated being bored. And alone. He jumped out of bed and opened his closet. Silky fabric, richly colored tunics, and fancy leather boots were hung with precision, but that wasn't what he was looking for. He knew if he was going to find adventure, and maybe even meet knew people, he would have to dress in his secret stash. He pushed past the colorful garments and opened a locked box. It has a tattered, someone dirty clothes and well worn shoes. A grin spread across his face as he put the clothes on. He wouldn't have much time before some maids decided to check on him. He put on a cap to hide his crimson colored hair and opened his windows. He was on an upper floor, but he has scaled the castle before. He slipped out and prayed the maids were taking their sweet time. He shimmed down, nearly slipping twice. Once his feet were planted on the ground, he had to make a quick exit or risk being caught. He ran and kept running even when he made it into the village. He glanced behind him to ensure he wasn't being followed, and when he did so, he ran smack into another villager. He fell to the ground and adjusted his cap to make sure his hair was still cover. He looked up to see a boy about his age with golden blonde hair and green eyes. He cleared his throat and said, "I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going."

Mai ibayo/Nurse/Earth Kingdom/Tagged: Saki

It was a long night. Mai had been taking care of a young child stricken with a horrible stomach illness. The poor, little boy was unable to keep anything down and stayed up vomiting most of the night. Finally, the fever broke and he was sleeping soundly. But Mai was running low on supplies and that meant she had to go pick some up. First, she wasn't a drinker, but she did need some alcohol to sterilize some of the equipment. Though after staying up all night, she wouldn't mind a drink. She pushed away from the sleeping boy and rubbed her tired eyes. As she walked out, she pulled her long, blonde hair from its confinement and let it settle around her shoulders and down her back. She hoped that her hair might disguise the fact she looked so tired. She went to the local tavern, which knew her well. She entered with a sigh and made eye contact with the barkeep. "I'll have the usually," she said in a soft tone as she sat next to male drinking on his own. She glanced over at his with little interest other than he was wearing thin armor. The barkeep pushed her over a bottle and commented on her tired eye. Mai smiled, "Yeah, it was a long night." She glanced back at the fellow on her side and her curiosity peeked when he continued to stare off into oblivion. "Excuse me," she said with a worried tone. "Are you okay, sir?"

"Come again!" Amai called as the patron left, then looked around the nearly empty kitchen and decided to help herself to a pastry. As she munched on the tart, she began to daydream a bit. A day off wouldn't hurt, especially on a slow day like this. Nobody would even know she had left. At least, she hoped not. In case anyone were to come by, she whipped up a few more tarts and a couple extra biscuits then put them out on the counter with a note that read, "Help yourself!" She waited for the people who had been eating to leave, then went through the back door and headed into the village. "Fresh air would do me some good." She thought as she walked.

Kari darted away from a fruit stand, a mango in her mouth as she avoided the glass bottle the seller had thrown at her. Ignoring the strange looks from the villagers she passed, she stopped in an alley and sat to eat her mango. While it wasn't a cake, it was still a tasty treat. Finishing it, she groomed herself a bit before going back oit and nearly tripping someone. Her ears flattened, and she ran off before they could even react.

Furin shot to his feet to face the head knight and nodded, his face taking a slightly red color. "On it, sir." He hurried off to Akemi's chambers before Nori could see the sheepish grin beginning to spread across his face. So he would see the princess today after all! His heart fluttered with excitement but he did his best to keep a straight face as he reached Akemi's room. He took a couple breaths and hoped that his blush had died down as he knocked on her door. "Lady Akemi?"

Paton barely felt his former disappointment as he looked up at Nori. He knew this was the head knight, he recognized the scent. He gave a bark of greeting and walked circles around the knight, tail wagging. Surely he would need him on the o-so exciting mission into town. Realizing that he was acting like a puppy, he stopped and sat, looking up as Nori with bright eyes and a wagging tail.
