She laughed softly at his comment. Although, it was probably better than she would do. But His encouraging words were enough for Frostpaw as she ventured forward just a few paw steps. Something whipped quickly through the trees, filling Frostpaw with mixed feelings of fear, excitement, and a little bit of confidence.
She softened her step as she padded forward once more. A flash of gray-white fur whipped once again through the bushes. Her heart raced when she saw it was a rabbit.
What do I do? She thought desprately, not wanting to embarrass herself in front of Flamepaw.

Flamepaw followed Frostpaw's gaze and saw a flash of grey fur rustling the bushes. "Get it!" He gasped, his fur pricked as he watched the fast rabbit stir the nearby leaves. "You can do it! I know you can." Flamepaw whispered, intently watching his clan-mate.

She took a shaky step forward. You can do this, she thought, Flamepaw thinks you can, so suck it up and take a leap of faith already.
Her shoulders angled and she lowered herself into a position that looked like a half-balanced duck, but that meant nothing so long as she felt like she was hunting for prey like a true warrior. She unsheathed her claws, and as the rabbit bounced forward at an incredible pace, she pounced.

Flamepaw squealed as Frostpaw leaped towards the rabbit; catching it in her paws, and clawing at the prey."Good catch! That was so great!" Flamepaw praised his clan-mate; a deep purr rumbling in his throat."The whole clan is gonna love you!" Flamepaw meowed as he circled the she-cat. His whiskers twitched as he thought about someone trying to get close to Frostpaw, and he shook his head to himself. "We have to go show everyone! Come on!" He nudged the rabbit towards her, and padded off towards the camp

Longpaw didnt know where she was going. If it took her further than the border, then it was okay. She didnt belong to a Clan anymore. She never fit in in there anyway. "Nobody will miss me when they realise I'm gon-" Longpaw cut off as a sharp stench hit her. Not cat...not fox...badger! She wanted to run but she was frozen to the spot. Her eyes grew wide as the obviously male badger clambered out of the bushes. Longpaw let out a yowl, knowing she would not be able to fight off such a large badger when she was so small.

Frostpaw glowed at his praise. She lifted the dead rabbit proudly. I did it, I actually did it, She thought, as she padded after him back to the camp

Foxpaw shook her head. "I'm ok. I actually do have a mentor, but they're never around." She said shrugging. She looked at her paws. How could someone she didn't know want to talk to her?

Tigerpaw shook her fur before running after Longpaws scent. She seemed to be head to the border. A yowl made her run even faster. "Longpaw!" She yelled.

Deerpaw smiled a little. "Thanks. You are too." She said embarrassed. He was kinda cute. But her heart belonged to Robinpaw. She shouldn't change that. But no matter how hard she tried, she was starting to get feelings for another.
