She nodded quickly. almost too quickly, she thought, criticizing herself. "Yeah, sure. W-What is it?" She was still a little nervous.

Deerpaw sighed and got up, walking to the new cat in the center of the camp. "H-hi! Sorry to disturb you. I-I'm Deerpaw." She introduced herself quietly. She was nervous and was also a shy cat but she was always more confident and comfortable around males so she was sure she'd warm up to him quickly.

Nebula looked up from grooming his chest, smiling at he she-cat. "Oh- hello! I-I'm Nebula, but I'll soon be called Silverpaw! Your leader welcomed me into your clan." He said with a purr.

Flamepaw looked around the camp; making sure no one was looking at them, before continuing. "I snuck out of camp earlier.. and I caught the smallest mouse ever!" Flamepaw hissed quietly into Frostpaw's ear, his ears drawn back as he thought about the small morsel of prey he caught.

Deerpaw looked at her paws and shyly shuffled her paws. "N-nice to meet you Silverpaw. I like your names." She said quietly. She was still shy and embarrassed but she was starting to feel a little more comfortable. Her face heated up slightly. She hoped he wouldn't notice.

She tilted her head, confused for a moment, but then her eyes widened as she realized niether she nor Flamepaw had a mentor yet. "You caught a mouse?" She asked, amazed. She didn't even care that it was small, it was intriguing hearing about things that went on outside the camp. She'd been cooped up for moons.

Flamepaw suddenly gained his confidence back as he saw how amazed Frostpaw was. "Well.. Yeah.. I did, didn't I?" Flamepaw purred slightly, a bit disappointed in himself because he ate the mouse before he showed it to anyone. "When I get a mentor I'm gonna be the best hunter in this clan!" Flamepaw yowled, holding his head high and puffing out his chest. He secretly hoped Frostpaw liked his confidence.
