Shou is the true embodiment of the Sun. The youngster always seem to have some sort of glow to him when he flashes that toothy grin. The kid always tries to look on the bright side of things even though there may not be one. He can be seen as quite the optimist because of his bright exterior.

Though, Shou is one to always seek improvement in himself. Growing up the youngest of two children, Shou had to deal with a volleyball athlete for a brother. Naturally, Shou wanted to join him as well, only to be shut out entirely. He was told he was "too short" or "had no talent" from the other players. Of course, this angered Shou so he trained himself and practiced along with his brother who was more than happy to help. Only to be shut down again, and again, and again. Until finally, he was turned down by his own brother.

Shou had originally gone to all their practices, games, etc. But after that, he stopped entirely. Only continuing to live in the shadows of his other sibling. Watching him get all the glory and fame, all the attention from Shou's mother. He was furious. Still furious to be exact.

Thankfully, Shou never actually gave up on the sport. Practicing from dusk till dawn, Shou trains himself. Getting help from neighbors, strangers, even friends he's made on the volleyball team. He pushes himself way beyond the limit. Striving to become faster, smarter, and stronger. Hoping to one day become the ace in spiking.

[I hope this is okay! ^^' I had to stop midway and continue typing on my phone for the rest of it! Do the mentors decide what powers the humans get during the roleplay? Or do I decide? Either way is fine by me, I'm just having a hard time deciding but I wanted to make sure that if we were suppose to or not! ^^']
