╚════════════════════════════╝ minnowpool shook her head at the thought of more than one badger lurking in their territory, why would they take such a risk? she turned around, quick walking back to camp. she could smell the scent of her clan mates, although she couldn't see the camp when something large and heavy latched onto her back, grabbing hold of her sides. she yowled loudly, turning her back and shaking the creature from its hold on her. as she turned around, she knew the familiar scent and look of it. a large, black and white badger stood with its teeth bared in front of her, ready to strike again.

The queen suddenly froze at the chilling scent of blood. Her fur rised and she quickly snatched up the two kits, racing towards Camp. She froze yet again at the sight of a black and white beast. Now she rememberd what the scent. It was a badger! PatchPelt dropped down the two kits, signaling them to stay put as she hurried over to help MinnowPool. Her battle moves may had gotten rusty from all the moons spent in the nursery, but that couldn't matter one bit. PatchPelt lashed her storng claw across the badgers side to distract it from MinnowPool.

She heard a yowl from far away and turned to where she heard it. With a frown on her face she asked "Cherry what was that?" before making her way to the yowl


Cherry/29 moons/Female/Loner/Tagged;

She only shrugged and followed Candy "you better be careful" she reminded Candy "who knows whats happening over there"


Vinepaw/17 moons/Male/Medicine cat apprentice/Tagged;

When he caught hie breath he got up and began walking to the Medicine cat den wondering if he could find something to do

Shrikestorm's senses went on high alert when a yowl reached his ears. He ran towards the sound and upon nearing it, pounced on the badger, clawing furiously at its back. It had tough skin, but it didn't take long to break it. The badger roared and tossed Shrikestorm off, turning its attention to him. Shrikestorm recovered quickly and dove under it, clawing at its belly and creating several more wounds. He emerged on the other side ready to fight. "Go get help!" he hissed to Minnowpool.

PatchPelt
The queen was surprised to ShrikeStorm appear. Yet she was also very relived, knowing that with the help of the tom and MinnowPool, the badger would be defeated. The queen sent another deep wound over the badger's side, hissing furiosly.

ShadowKit
ShadowKit watched with his ears flattend. What was this creature? Why was everyone fighting it? He could stare and watch from a far, shivering from fear.

PidgeonKit
The kit watched the cats battle the mighty creature. Oh, how she would have wanted to fight amongst them! After a bit of hesitating, PidgeonKit took up her courage, storming towards the badger, jumping into it's hindleg with her tiny claws.

╚════════════════════════════╝ minnowpool hissed, glancing at patchpelt quickly, but turning her attention back to the badger. her ears flattened in anger and she winced in pain. she turned her head to see blood dripping down her sides from where the badger had sunk its claws into her stomach. shrikestorm had clawed at the badger's back and now it was bleeding as badly as herself. she hissed angrily at shrikestorm when he said to go get help, was that all she was good for? instead of obeying the deputy, she lunged at the badger, swiping at its face and gripping onto its soft neck with her teeth.

"No!" Shrikestorm yowled when he saw Pigeonkit try to attack the badger. The beast shook its leg ferociously, trying to dislodge the tiny ball of fluff. Shrikestorm pounced over to Pigeonkit, ripping the kit from the badger's leg. He carried the kit over to where Shadowkit was sitting and set her down. "Never again, Pigeonkit!" He scolded the kit, but his eyes teared up. "Stay over here until the badger is gone."

Wolfpaw jumped and ran towards the noise. "I'm too late!" She yelled before seeing the battle. Her heart almost stopped at the sight of Pidgeonkit on the badger. Running towards them, she scratched the badgers eyes before jumping out of the way. She jumped onto its legs and began clawing it with her back legs.

When she got to where she heard the yowl she saw a few cats fighting a badger. She gasped and hid still watching the fight closely.

When she caught up with Candy and hid with her she grumbled to herself "Probably clan cats" she then turned her head to Candy "we should go" only to get a no from the Kittypet

"PidgeonKit! Go back to your brother!" PatchPelt was in shock when she saw the kit appear, trying to fight the badger. The queen was about to pull the kit off when ShrikeStorm grabbed her. She was even more shocked by the tom taking actions than by PidgeonKit joining the fight in the first place. Still, she continued to fight against the badger, sending deep wounds across it's pelt.

ShadowKit
ShadowKit was just as shocked as his mother when he saw PidgeonKit run off like that. The tom watched as ShrikeStorm hurried over with her. It almost seemed like he was crying, but ShadowKit quickly brushed it off as his imgadination before turning to face PidgeonKit."PidgeonKit, you almost got yourself killed!"

"But I wanna fight! I wanna help!" PidgeonKit tried to protest against PatchPelt when she was suddenly grabbed by ShrikeStorm. The kit quickly fell silent, her ears going flat when the tom scolded her. PidgeonKit paid hardly any attention to ShadowKit's worried meowls.
