StrikeStar tried to follow,but when he jumped he fell and hit the ground. "Ow.."

rani glanced around the camp, looking to see if anyone else had awakened or was in camp yet, but, like usual, it was barren except for one cat. the molly let out a frustrated snort, with as few cats as deathclan had, they couldn't afford anyone sleeping in or anyone going out by themselves. they definitely can't afford loosing anymore cats. the molly returned to her paws and padded over to a molly who lay in the corner of camp. "hello," she murmured to wrath as she sat down beside her.

after a while, the tom stood up from his spot and left the camp. considering he hadn't seen lightningpaw exit the apprentice's den yet, he thought he might as well go out and hunt while he waited.

Lightningpaw lay in her nest. She didn't want to get up. Today was her first day with Lionstrike. She wanted Nightwhisper back. He had understood her so well and she had trusted him like no one else. Leafstar had assured her that Lionstrike would be a good mentor for her, but it gave her little assurance. She sighed and put her head on her paws. The biggest thing she was worried about was that he would see her as a deathclan cat, the daughter of Slash, instead of a Leafclan apprentice. Lightningpaw flattened her ears and shut her eyes.


Leaf was repugnant soundly in the Trainnee den.

Slash sat in the back of his den in the shadows. He was thinking.

"No!" Thunderkit whined, then pricked his ears, "What is I came with you?"

Firestorm waited just outside of camp.

Lightpaw nodded, she was starting to get tired, but she would push herself a little more.

Squirrelpaw replied calmly. '' its training, battle skills, hunting, blah blah blah.'' The pale tabby added. '' And no, Sorry Thunderkit, I don't think its wise for you to come. Your mother may miss you soon!'' She sighed and padded out of the camp, nodding greetings to her mentor. '' Hey Firestorm, Sorry to keep you waiting.''

GaleKit continued to sort the leafs, pawing away the dead looking ones.

AceStorm was silently walking around camp,every so often hiding in the nearest bush. She looked at the sky a few time in her walk, wondering what to do.

Fallstorm sighed, "What was on that leaf was juice from what is called a deathberry." He told her. "Deathberries are very, very poisonous. They're red berries from the dark-leaved, poisonous yew bush. You should never touch them."

"Oh..deathberries..they sound scary!" GaleKit squeaked,looking up at FallStorm."What do these leafs do?" She asked,pawing at one.

Thunderkit frowned as he watched her leave.

Firestorm stood up and stretched. "Did Thunderkit give you trouble?" He asked with a small chuckle.
