"Its ok but if you don't help train your apprentice how will he become a warrior?" She asked "Maybe when you have time and he is in camp you will be able to take him out training?" She said

[Xura]

"Yeah, that would be a good idea," she agreed. They walked further in silence for a little while, she hardly began to notice her limp as it slowly evolved into a walk. "So, was it more difficult to train Ravenpaw?"

There was a small rustle in the trees. Probably just a mouse , thought Whiteriver

Wildstar

"Training him will be hard but with his experience it should not take long or be to hard." She said her ears turning as she also heard the small rustling noise.

[Xura]

She nodded. She saw something black flash through the trees, and a stench filled the air. What was that? She just couldn't put her paw on it. Perhaps a skunk?

Wildstar

WIldstar flinched as the tree shook and the black flash went by. Maybe it was just a crow she thought.

[Xura]

Her fur bristled when she heard a dog-like growl erupt from the thick death berry bushes. Fear filled her from the depths of her stomach, and she halted when she saw an orange-white flash through the trees. "Wildstar-" she began in a whisper, her blue eyes wide at the sense of danger. She recognized the ill-riden stench she had scented earlier, and it was neither skunk nor mouse, but fox.

Wildstar

"Whiteriver.." The fox then jumped out showing itself "Run now!" She said then jumped forward slashing at the foxes snout trying to give Whiteriver time to run. Wildstar knew he needed more time to run cause her limp. "Go back to camp now! Get a patrol to come here! Hurry!" She yowled out to her.

[Xura]

"I can't leave you here!" Argued Whiteriver. She knew there was no time, and besides that was just as stubborn as she was when she was an apprentice. She didn't waste a second as she leapt on top of the fox, pulling it full force to the ground. It bit her shoulder and she let out a screeching yowl. She slashed her claws down the side of it's flank as the two tumbled, but it barely made a mark.

Wildstar

Wildstars claws flailed trying to scratch at the foxes eyes. The fox was focused on Whiteriver to try and fight back. She landed a scratch above its eye making blood drizzle down its face going into its eye making it harder for it to see. She then lashed at its tail as it came close.

[Xura]

Blood from the fox's eye dripped onto her white fur as the fox forced her onto her back, her soft belly was open and exposed. She kicked out her hind leg, managing to disorient the creature just enough to roll away. She hissed as she again leapt onto its large back. It was undoubtedly a male, and it towered over both she and Wildstar.
She had more grip this time around, she dug her claws into its neck. It let out an agonizing cry, and tossed Whiteriver to the side and into a tree.
"Is that all you got, mousebrain?!" She shouted as she wearily pulled herself back up. Her leg pulsed with pain and soreness but she ignored it, she would prove she's stronger than that.
