Nightmares are not what they sound like. Nightmares are fluffy critters that live under our beds. Despite the hearsay, they aren’t particularly evil or ominous; it’s just they are nocturnal and the sounds they make cause our sensitive psychic to show us scary images when we sleep. They can be mischievous at times, but generally they’re quite friendly, behaving as something in-between ferrets and little kittens! When tamed, they easily learn to sleep at the same times as their owner, not giving them nightmares anymore! Will you be open-minded enough to disregard cruel rumors and give one of these affectionate creatures a chance?

Nightmares come in many different colors. They can take on almost any color or pattern that ever existed! But most commonly they have darker colors so they can blend into the shadows.

Nigthmare Mutation Guide

Nightmares have a robust genetics capable of producing nearly any mutation imaginable. Scientists still havent discovered all the possible mutations these unique animals can have. Some of them might be weird, seem unnatural and even not physically possible, but so far there havent been any lethal cases in mutated nightmares. The only limitation in mutation is it's rarity, as it has been proven that the bigger % of the body mutation takes, the rarer it is to occur and pass onto the offspring in breeding.

Nightmare History

Nightmares are semi-mythical creatures that existed alongside us for centuries. Scientists still debate on their origin, but the common accepted theory is that they were once deep cavern dwellers who were forced out of their natural habitats by human mining activity. These blind, noseless, mouthless creatures were long considered bad omens and were ostracised worldwide as evil monsters. Only recently have scientists proven they are actually timid, social animals who can be domesticated fairly well and dont bring any bad omens with them. Their popularity as pets have skyrocketed since that discovery, as their generally gentle personality, almost dog-like social instincts, fair share of intelligence and extremely wide, vibrant range of possible colors and markings make them good pets and loyal companions.
