Klein followed him. He ran and grabbed Kiritos arm. "Kirito!" He yelled worriedly. "W-What are you doing?" He asked. He eyes filled with tears.

Kirito looked blankly at him and tried to pull away, not answering his question. "Let go, Klein." He told him softly.

"No!" Klein cried. He had tears falling down his cheeks. "I'm not gonna let my best friend die!" He cried. His grip tightening.

Kiriot gave him a sad look and shook his head. "Klein... Just let me go, Klein." he muttered, "What's the point?"

"No!" Klein yelled. "Asuna wouldn't have wanted this!" He cried. He ten got something from his inventory and sent it to him. It was a message. "Asuna told me to give this to you if something happened to her." He said. The message said 'Hey Kirito! So if your reading this something happened to me, and I'm really sorry if it did. I don't know how you must be feeling right now, but I imagine it's horrible. So again, I'm sorry. But anyway, I just wanted to tell you I love you and that please try and beat the game, if not for me, then for the rest of the players. Thank you, Love Asuna.'

Tears flooded from Kirito's eyes. He fell to his knees and buried his face in his hands, "Why though? We're never going to get out of this game anyway. We don't even deserve to get out, humans are sickening. We don't deserve to be saved."

"What about Asuna? Did she deserve to get out?" Klein asked, with a glare. His knuckles were white.

Kirito wiped away his tears, "Y-yeah." He stood up and clenched his fists, "But she didn't, and won't ever." He turned and ran towards the edge, leaping as he grew close.

"KIRITO!" Klein cried. He ran and grabbed Kiritos wrist and cried out in pain as his stomach dug into the ledge. "Kirito don't y-"

"K-Kirito?" A small voice asked from behind them. Klein whipped around as his eyes widened at who he saw. "Asuna?!"

Kirito let out a gasp of pain as Klein grapped his hand and yanked him back. He heard Asuna's voice and smacked away Kleins hand, hauling himself up, "Asuna? How?"
