Adderpaw came out of the bushes "why do you like me? The first hint of love I have given you was just now.... What have I done to deserve this?" She asked sadly behind him.

Flamepaw

"I..." Flamepaw trailed off and his gaze lowered. "I just do. I can't explain or control my feelings." He said. "And I... I don't know." He said as he looked back up at the pretty she-cat. "But you're the medicine cat apprentice.." He said in a quite voice. "So I know you'll never.." He trailed off as his eyes teared up. I'm not going to cry. he thought as he stood in silence.

Adderpaw looked up a bit and smiled just slightly so it was unnoticed. She ran up to him and nuzzled him. "I have loved you since.... Since we were kits." She said with a sigh of relief.

Flamepaw

"So have I." He whispered as he nuzzled her back. You know this can never be. She has a code to follow, an important rank in the clan. a voice in his head told him but he ignored it, enjoying the moment while he could.

He purred with a smile. This was a big thing for her. She knew this couldn't happen though. She retracted "we can't do this... She said sadly. "We should go back to camp."

Snowstar padded up to lightstar. "How's your training going?" She asked with a dim smile.

Flamepaw stepped back. "I know." He said. His eyes gave off a look of hurt but he said nothing more as he turned back toward camp and started walking. I just thought we might be able to enjoy one moment together before it had to end forever. he thought.

Adderpaw felt terrible for ending there final moment together. She walked next to him, flank on flank. (Wb)

Snowstar padded up to lightstar. "How's your training going?" She asked with a dim smile.

(*evil laughter* lightpaw is now lightstar and shall take over. X3 lol jk)

Lightpaw sat down and licked her paw, casually pawing it over her muzzle. "Great!" she purred. "How's your leadership going?" Lightpaw asked with a small laugh.
