@Whale I'm going to change Ravensong's form a little to say that the father of her kits died in battle to make her open for Shadowcast. The previous mate is going to be Blackheart. (A tom who was strong with unquestionable loyalty but whose motives for doing things could often seem sinister. Ravensong brought out the softer side of his personality. He died protecting her. Unlike her brother, she kept her loving personality after grieving for her lost mate.)

... I might've gotten a bit carried away there with Blackheart's backstory.

I don't generally start cats off with crushes because I like them to figure out how much they like the other cat before they start crushing ^^ That's why my cats generally start off crushless. I do like having them develop relationships down the road though ^^
