Shadedpaw realized that she was not in camp. And probably miles from it. She stalked that deer for hours, and she didnt know her way back. Her only choice now, as she was at the brink of fainting, was yowling. She prefered to stsy indipendent, but she needed someone to help her get the deer back to camp. It was almost nighttime now and nocat noticed she was out of camp. She realized that and stopped from drawing her lips back to yelp. Instead, she smiled. As if no weight on her shoulders, though there was a deer, she dug deeper into the woods.

She poked her head into apprentice den looking for Shadedpaw, she hadn't seen much of her apprentice and thought she would take her hunting. But as she looked around camp she began to realize that Shadedpaw was not in camp. Emberfang slipped out camp in hopes of finding her apprentice.

Finally energized, Shadedpaw ate another deer leg. She wasn't sure of which way she came, but she couldn't smell anything over the deer. The deer would be wasted if it turned stale, because it was so large it could still feed the whole clan. She remembered they wander a lot during leafbare. Hallucinating, a purple dog with wings attacked. But when she tried to fight back, it wasnt there, not a scratch on her.

Turtle heard the apprentice and started making her way towards her. She saw that she was attacking nothing, and she leaped out of the bushes, attempting to pin her down. "Stop!" She she growled trying to calm down Shadedpaw, but was struggling considering that she was about the same size as the apprentice.

Nightpaw was out searching for herbs once again. It seemed to be the only thing the apprentice ever did. He never liked training as one of the other apprentices. Nightpaw hardly knew how to hunt let alone fight in a battle. The young apprentice sighed as these thoughts went through his mind as he sniffed about for cobwebs.

Turtle had an idea, catching a faint scent on the wind. She desperately hoped that she wasn't wrong, taking a breath. "Nightpaw!" She cried loudly, hoping that her voice would carry, but not enough to get to the camp, even though it wasn't nearby.
