Locke stiffened with surprise, her hands immediately coming up to push him off but she stopped herself, she really, really wanted to push him off, but instead she just let him enjoy the hug for a little while. Her fingers curled up into a loose fist, taking a deep breath, which was a bit hard with Subaru hugging her so tightly, she unclenched her short-lived fist and gingerly set her hands down , one onto his shoulder and one onto his head. She waited another moment before gently pushing him back, not far enough that she was out of the hug but far enough that he was off her chest, her face a bit flustered.

Appearance: The vines (see:history) have grown enough to wrap around Edith's arms, legs, and up her neck and into her afro. So there are often leaves caught up in her curls, usually quite a mess. Edith wears small, round glass on her freckled face. She wears a long skirt to hide her vine-covered legs and a bandeau around her chest for comfort. She then covers up her arms with a slightly-too-big of a blazer. Her always forgets to wear shoes.

History: For a large part of her life Edith lived in an enchanted forest that provided her with food, water, and protection. But one day, one of her experimental potions went wrong and ended up burning down the forest. The forest spirits cursed her, stabbing her in the back with a seed. Now, there are tree branches growing out of her back in between her shoulder blades, slowing wrapping themselves around her body. She was cursed to slowly and painfully transform into a tree. Everyday, the branches inch along her body, digging in to her skin. Since then she has looked for a cure, searching high and low, until she ended up at the Manor. Her she conducts her experiments, trying desperately to create a cure while her time dwindles away

Edith stepped into the large kitchen. "Holy c---. how much counter space do they need," she wondered aloud as she headed towards one of the pantries. She started whipping open the doors and looking at the contents. "Fully stocked. Perfect." She then begun to look through the shelves, shoving things a side. A lot of it fell to the ground, one box of flour exploded and covered everything in a one meter radius with white. When Edith couldn't find what she was looking for, even after throwing a couple of things over her shoulder, she moved onto the next pantry and repeated her disastrous process.

It took Edith only minutes before she collected enough. Unfortunately, she hadn't thought a head and now was stuck with carrying a pile of food. A can of tuna blocked her eye sight, so she blindly made her way out of the kitchen, bumping into everything as she went. Somehow, she found her way out of the kitchen, up the main stairs, and wandering around the halls, looking for her room. "What an idiot, I can't believe I forgot where my own room is," she cried with disdain, desperately trying to balance the arm load of food as she walked the halls, surely lost. "Hello? Hello? Can someone help me?" She called out, while turning another corner.

As Haruka continued walking, she heard someone calling for help. She walked towards the noise in search for the person. Haru soon found a girl with a pile of food. "Ah-- you alright? Need help?" Haruka helped the girl with the food. "Ahahaa.... why so much food?" She sweat dropped.
