This fruit bat is special because it's wings are transparent. But the wings are still the same mass as none transparent wings.

Why The Wings? ;;
Crystal comes from a line fruitalia who are deceptively north-dwelling. Despite most fruitalia living in the jungle climates-- Crystal's 'branch' of fruitalia migrate to the arctic climates to give birth to their young. This usually doesn't cause any complication, it's just an odd migratory quirk adapted by a small set of fruitalia. This in and of itself didn't cause her wings to change-- rather, it was a fruitalia who saw their tradition as awful and strange. The fruitalia who did migrate this way got a bit of trouble for it, yes-- but the leading pair of the 'tribe' were Crystal's parents. The people say they were cursed by the north for their naviety, thinking they could outrun the tropical warmth they were meant for-- others say it was a witch who laid a curse upon Crystal, the newborn of the parents of a strange new movement-- so that they would reconsider their 'atrocities'.

Crystal has always personally believed her wings were a gift from the arctic place in which she was born. She never really cared for superstition-- much less that of fruitalia who know little better than the difference of an apple and a peach. Crystal isnt' really sure why she was born the way she was, but her wings have been the way they are ever since she was brought into the world-- and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Why does this one have transparent wings?:

What happened was that when she was born, her wings
were still developing for flight. However the cold climate she was born
in brought a surprise for her. A layer of dry ice began forming on her
wings which wore away what was developing and the dry ice formed into
her wings. Because of how her wings were, the ice became transparent.
Her wings cannot be touched or it will hurt because it's dry ice but this
is how her wings came to be.
