She let out a sigh of relief, she hadn't interrupted anything important. Her dry throat itched, reminding her of her thirst. "I was wondering if you'd like to accompany me to the river," she replied with high hopes

Ravenpaw blinked in surprise. "Really?" He hesitated. "Yeah, why not." He finally mewed.

She smiled. "Great!" She exclaimed, her voice was scratchy. "Come on then," she said with a flick of her tail as she began her stride to the camp's exit

Ravenpaw tilted his head, then followed her. He caught up with her just outside if camp. "Why did you want me to go with you?" He asked.

She met his pace shoulder to shoulder. "Why not?" She countered. No matter what age or rank any cat was in the clan, Whiteriver enjoyed the company. They left the camp and began a light walk through the forest.

Ravenpaw flicked his tail. Why not indeed. He glanced at Whiteriver. He likes her, she was kind. He lifted his chin as a soft wind blew though his fur.
