Rosesong noted Romulus' first move. A tease, a threaten. Good choice for a beginning move. We won't have to work on that. Rosesong thought. She pinned her ears as if she were really about to fight a cat, and twitched a little, hardly acknowledging the cut. She turned to face the tom, lunging not to his neck, but his shoulder blade. With a few cats, it was a painful place to be struck, and with others, they just got thrown off balance. She hit Romulus with only half her weight, making sure not to inflict him with too much pain. Typically in a fight, she'd throw most of her weight at a cat, but still have control to the point where she'd stay balanced, usually taking the cat to the ground or close to hitting it. She was ready to kick a paw out from underneath him, but wanted to test his own counter-attacks.

"I don't know. Whatever we are the most low in supply with." Icepaw suggested seeming a bit nervous. He wasn't used to working with other cats and he was the individual type as well. He just hoped he didn't mess this up.

Romulus full fighting instinct kicked in once he felt a small spark of mild pain. His eyes narrowed even more before he immediately bucked his back legs with full force slaking them down on her stomach. Then, the rouge turned himself around and sank his fangs into her back, his now unsheathed claws sinking into another part of her back and close to her shoulder.

"That's okay." Blossomstar mewed, dodging Petalpaw's pounce. "You can join us now" she mewed, going back to Petalpaw, chasing her till they were met by a large slippery oak. "Now what shall you do, Petalpaw?" The leader mewed. "You are cornered. You can't flee, the oak is too slippery to climb" Blossomstar reminded

Lightpaw nodded and padded into the clearing. She tilted her head. Was she supposed to attacked Blossomstar too?

Petalpaw got to her paws after failing the attack, and feeling the ground on her belly. She retreated as Blossomstar chased her to the tree, then she heard Blossomstar's mew. She looked around carefully before swatting as hard as she could with one paw on one side of Blossomstar's, hopefully to unbalance her.

"We need to gather some more herbs before hand" she mewed before going to the back, and quickly figuring how much of what herbs would be needed, "Hey Icepaw, can you help gather some herbs, please?" she asked padding over to Icepaw.

"Burdock" she mewed decisively before pawing at him as she bounced away.

On his way to Lynxclaw he noticed Sweetpetal, "Sweetpetal! Blossomstar said to meet at the training ground to help train" he called to her.

Rosesong winced as Romulus's teeth sank into her back. Rosesong, you have the choice to give a reminder that this is training and not an actual fight, or you can fall back on him, counter his attack and then remind him. Rosesong thought. But this wasn't her voice, it was her mothers. She took a deep breath before throwing all of her weight onto her back paws, falling back on Romulus. "Easy there, Romulus, this isn't a fight, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you out." Rosesong mewed as she got up, shaking her pelt and looking down at the tom beneath her. "Training, not a fight. But you have good reflexes and you maneuver well, I admire that, judging you weren't taught like the clan cats here, you made clean moves." she added. She remembered the conversation earlier while on border patrol. Shaking her head and clearing the thought of her mother, the one that helped her learn to fight, she wondered why her mother was giving this advice. You chose to show your strength. It may be helpful that you complemented him after the counter. But, my little Rosesong, ask yourself if you showed and weakness, other than the scar, which will stay hidden in all that fur. Keep that hidden, and he can't use that to weaken you. I'm proud of you, showing a cat kindness when all they've ever had is rough times. the voice mewed in her head. Her mother's low, soft tone of voice used to be soothing, now it just haunted her. The scar on her stomach was hardly visible, but hurt to touch.

Lightpaw flicked her tail at Petalpaw. They would do this as a team.At the same time that Petalpaw hit Blossomstar, Lightpaw lunged at her from behind, aiming to hit Blossomstar on the same side.

Romulus gave a small hiss when all of a sudden the she cat fall on him smashing him onto the ground. Once the female stood up right, he also stood up and wiped himself clean. "Don't fall on me okay?" The male hissed before he sat down and licked his chops a bit feeling a small drop or two of now crusted blood. The male shook his fur up before he meowed, "Fine but I can't help it."
