Username: Frightful
Nickname (if any):
Why you want to join: It gets quiet annoying when people "Talk Like This", "tlk lyk dis", "talk like this without any abbreviation it's very annoying when people don't use periods and make a billion run on sentences" or "TALK LIKE THIS". Another peeve of mine is when people use the wrong their, there, or they're.
Anything else? Nope

Accepted! And yes, it is very annoying when People Talk Like This. It's fine if you're frustrated and you. Talk. Like. This. Because it's like talking with pauses when you're frustrated by something (like I am when my computer acts dumb) for me, though. And chat speak is just hard to understand. T_T (Oh yeah, "lyk u hav awsum petz cn i hav 1?????/?" is easier to understand than "Wow, you have some really cool pets!"[/sarcasm])

I do not understand when People Talk Like This.
...Seriously, your words are NOT a book title.

The thing is, I don't mind if your English is, like, your 2nd or 3rd or whatever language, but I do mind if your first language is English and you still talk like an illiterate weirdo.

Agreed. If it's not your first language it's okay, because you haven't mastered English yet! =3
I know I'm not *at all* literate in Mandarin!

I know some people in my Mandarin class are like "Wo......j-j-jiao.....Dan...Sh-sh-aaaaa...."

(Yes, very amazing. Almost as amazing as Grape soda, so let's get this show on the road! >=D And I decorated Greenie to be like the real one! Image See? I just got that wig today, the glasses from the art pack!)
Today we had a sub in LA. She did a lesson on grammar. And she was obviously a tick to subbing... she asked the class how our teachers threatened us if we were bad, so when she got "He warns us" she raised her arms like it was in prayer and said "I hereby warn the entire class!" *facepalm* Then told us to be quiet in French. I'm in Mandarin, lady. Not French. How the heck am I supposed to know what you're saying?
