She didn't wait for an answer from her sister as she began to scamper over to the medicine cats den.

Seeing the two kits running towards the medicine cat's den, Brambletail quickly excused herself from Tawnypaw and ran over to stop the kits.

"Where are you two going? It doesn't look like either of you look sick."

Tulipkit followed her sister, but froze when Brambletail approached them, "Ummm...." Her sister was always better at coming up excuses than she was. If asked she would just spill the truth. "We... Uh..."

Aw, foxdung! Thought Skykit as she saw Brambletail approach. She would have to think up an excuse before Tulipkit admitted what they were doing.
After about a second of thought she met Brambletail's eyes and confidently replied, "we were just going to see if Scartail wanted any help organizing her herbs today. She sometimes lets us help, and we're sooo bored."

Nice save! The kit thought, and went along with it. "Yeah! We were bored, there wasn't much to do so we thought she could use our help!" Her sister was definitely the brains of the operation, and she was happy to follow her lead.

(( I leave to visit my parents on Thursday and I'll be there for a few weeks. I'll have my laptop, but I'm not sure how active I'll be. I'll definitely be on every day, just not sure how long every day. ))

Brambletail looked down at the kits, not entirely believing them.

"If you tell me what you really want to do, I may think of a way you can do so without hurting yourselves. Some of the plants in there could harm you, and it's important that there always be enough, because those plants could save lives."

Skykit thought it over. She looked in the direction of her sister as she thought about deadly consequences the herbs in the den might have. Skykit didn't mind the danger, but she didn't want anything to happen to Tulipkit by accident.
"Alright," she sighed as she looked up at Brambletail with apologetic eyes. "We just wanted to find some flowers to make the Warriors den look pretty. It's so dark and scary in there!" Her eyes widened. That wasn't really her reason, she just wanted to have fun and make a few cats smile.

"Why? How old are you?" Tigerpaw asked curiously as she tilted her head. She examined the she-cat closely. She had to get to know her allies and her enemies. It's how you win battles. Well, it was how SHE won battles.

Understanding, she immediately lightened her tone and leaned in to the kits, " Okay, I think I saw some morning glories right behind highrock, why don't you use those?" Brambletail turned back to Tawnypaw, "Alright, back to what I said. Any input?"

Her eyes brightened. "Thanks, Brambletail!" She exclaimed as she changed directions to behind the high rock. She turned to see if her sister was following after. "Come on, Tulipkit!"
