There are three main tasks you must complete in order to tame and care for your new crownie. If these tasks are not completed by December 1st, your crownie will be rehomed.

The task can either be drawn or written, and must be posted on your adopted crownie's page. Written tasks need to be a minimum of 250 words long, while drawn tasks must include color.

Everything must be done by you and cannot be ordered by someone else.


Task #1 - Introduction
Upon meeting your new crownie, its obvious they will need some time to adjust to being in your stables. Get to know them and their behaviors, and try to gain their trust the best you can.

Task #2 - General Care
Your crownie has been neglected as far as specialty care. They need a good feeding, washing, and trimming to improve their attitude. Scrub off the gunk and condition their coats, and dont forget to trim their hooves, teeth, and fins. As for dinner, a nice juicy steak sounds pretty good...or whatever you have lying around at the moment.

Task #3 - Breaking In The Saddle
These crownies have never been ridden or introduced to any kind of tack before. Show your new companion that its not so bad, and take them out for a good trail ride.

Task One, Introduction

I paced back and forth, wondering where I'd put my newly acquired equine. My crownie stared at me, her eyes cautious and curious. I led her to an abandoned stall I had been working on cleaning up. It would do for now, but of course, it would need work. It was large but part of the wood on the stall was being eaten away at or rotting, the metal starting to rust. Just like my crownie, it needed work.
I let her adjust before heading back. When I found her, she was picking through her feed, eating only specific parts and leaving the others behind untouched. I make a mental note of that and approached her. She took a step back, her eyes scanning mine as if she could see my intentions through them. After deciding I wasn't a threat, she came closer to sniff the apple and carrot I had in my hand. I held one in each hand, letting her choose which she liked more. I expected her to take the carrot, but to my surprise she took neither, and backed away shaking her head and neighing to show her displease. Instead, she nuzzled her way into my pocket where I had hidden a sugar cube, only to gulp in down in a matter of seconds. Again, I took a mental note. She came closer to me, an asking look in her eyes looking for more sugar cubes. I chuckled and shook my head. Tomorrow, I thought to myself. Then I had a thought.
"Wolfie?" I asked, and she lifted her head. I smiled because I had just found my mare's new name.
