This will remain a WIP for a while, now please, go play with your crowntails. c:
Just a few quick notes:
* I do not like roleplaying or writing about humans, so the main protagonist interacting with the crowntail will be an anthro of my 2nd fursona. (If you're wondering, I have 4 of them.)
* The height of the crowntail is 13.1, and the gender is female.
*There will be elements in the story that are fantasy, but will be restricted to real world limits. I show my writing best when I can describe in the genre I like.
*Humans will be depicted in the story, as there should be, but they may be rare, or, in an odd case, become a minor protagonist character.
*Some of my own crowntails will be staring in this. x3

Cold wind blew around the forest, carrying the multi-colored leaves along with it, as if they were dancing. A path within the forest led to a large grassy clearing, death seeming coming to the summer plants that once grew there. Not all life had took to the darkness though, as the sound of neighing came from a golden oak wood stable, which was much warmer inside than the world around. The large door creaked open as paws reached from the stinging gravel, to the soft sand that laid the main pathway. Blue dust shimmered from each step, coming up to the canine's head. The substance buried its self into the ebony pelt, causing the white markings to light up before dimming back down to a dim glow. Sighing, she walked over to a stall almost right next to the door, which a roan stallion laid with a deep green and black fin-like mane and tail. A nicker emerged from the brute's mouth as he stuck his cranium over of his stall and rubbed against the soft black fur of the feminine, before pulling back and looking at her with his green eyes. She smiled, opening the stall door. "Ready to go for a ride Evergreen? We're heading out to the fair, just you and I." The stallion neighed loudly in excitement, awakening his companion, Dusty, from a deep slumber. Dusty blew a frustrated breath from his nostrils, as this was the 5th time he was waken up, and just simply gave up. His owner, also known as Nightly Wishes, rubbed his head, motioning him back to his watery bed. She turned her attention back to Evergreen, grabbing his halter and rope from a hook on the wooden stall door, and placing the halter upon the brute's cranium, attaching it to the rope with a clip. The equine really didn't like being lead, instead, he preferred to walk over himself. He blew a breath in Nightly's face, and pulled the rope out of her paws, trotting over to the grooming and setting up area, turning to where he could be hooked up to the chains on the wall. Nightly giggled, "Alright then, princey" she said as she made her way over to the stallion, hooking him to the ropes and grabbing the brush off the shelf. Debris flew off of him like an avalanche, causing Nightly to back away a bit. "What have you been in? You shouldn't be this dirty, you just had a bath yesterday!" Winding away the debris, she finished her grooming duty, feeding Evergreen a small treat before placing his favorite saddle pad upon his back.
