Sunpaw padded out of the camp and headed towards the Whispering Forest. She approached the Rushing River and decided to cross through with the fallen tree rather than getting her paws wet. When she reached the forest the young apprentice frowned. It seemed that she couldn't scent or see her mentor. Sunpaw knew that Willowpelt had left the camp before her, so she must be here. I wonder where... She paused in her thoughts when she saw claw marks on one of the trees. It looks fresh! Sunpaw thought, looking past the tree to find others like it. She began to pad from tree to tree until she couldn't find anymore that were marked. Confused, began to look around. She was unaware that her mentor was right above her.

Willowpelt~Deputy~Shecat~27 Moons~Apprentice: Sunpaw

Willowpelt leaped down from the tree, his tail flailing down. She landed square onto Sunpaw, her sheathed. Her paws aimed for Sunpaw's back, hissing. Her tail was fluffy as she hissed into Sunpaw's ear. Battle training with her apprentice used to be simple a easy. Now, it was to the next level. "If you want to be the best warrior, learn how to fight!", she spat, hoping to get Sunpaw on ehr vicious side.

Luna

Female - No crush - Not with anybody (Open)

Luna purred on her housefolk's lap. She got a few pats on her head and then she looked down. There were her pellets. Yuck. She jumped off and looked at the pellets. Come on Luna! Eat them! Then go outside and start hunting. She nibbled a few pellets and then went to the door. She mewed and started scratching it. Her housefolk got up and opened the door. Finally! She ran outside and looked around. She ran to the fence and leaped onto it. She leaped to the other side. She remembered what the other cats said about the forest. Don't go into them! There's wild cats in there! They eat bones and wild animals! She didn't care. They couldn't eat bones. She ate wild animals. She decided to go in. '' They shouldn't mind me hunting a mouse or two.. '' She mewed to herself. She ran into the forest and padded up to the river. She lapped up a few drops of water before turning around. Where would a mouse hide? She twitched her ears and heard a mouse drinking a few steps in front of her. She crouched down and went closer to the mouse. Then she leaped. The mouse was under her paws. She quickly bit its neck. She laid down and started eating it. She was still hungry. Yesterday her housefolk wouldn't let her outside. She got up and went deeper into the forest. She was getting a tiny bit tired. She needed a little rest. She went up to a tree and laid down. She looked around and decided it was safe. She got up and took some leaves. She put it by the tree and laid on the leaves.

"Ah!" Sunpaw exclaimed as she felt a sudden weight fall on her. Battle training as never been this intense! She thought as she tried to figure out what to do. Letting out a hiss, Sunpaw dropped and rolled in an attempt to get Willowpelt off of her.

"No idea," Rapidleap replied, "He woke up all in a hurry, talking about hearing Sunpaw screaming. Stormpatch and I just thought he had a bad dream but, I guess it's a good thing I followed him. Maybe he just had a feeling they were in trouble." The she-cat shrugged, "He got a nice claw mark to his face, but nothing that won't heal. For how dangerous that badger was, he and Sunpaw fought really well. You've been training him good."

Stormpatch

"Sure," The tom replied, smiling and following her to the fresh kill pile. Applesong was an amazing warrior, and they apprenticed together for a time. There was something about her that always cheered him up, no matter what mood he was in. In his opinion, she was the prettiest cat in the clan, though he hadn't said so out loud. "How is Tigerpaw's training doing?"

Riverpaw

Riverpaw nodded, "I used the last of the dried oak leaf on Sharppaw, we won't get more until next leaf fall. Our supply of burdock root and horsetail are running low, it would be bad if we had infections and had nothing to treat them with. I think I saw some horsetail growing halfway to Rushing River, and I know I've seen burdock root just outside of camp."

Rushwing I Male I 25 moons I Crush: Open I Apprentice: Sharppaw

Rushwing imagined his apprentice holding his own against a badger. Sharppaw really had learned a lot in the moons since he had become an apprentice. "I guess I'm not doing too bad for my first apprentice. I can tell one day he'll be a strong warrior." The young warrior told her, pride evident in his voice.

Applesong I Female I 25 moons I Crush: Developing on Stormpatch I Apprentice: Tigerpaw

Applesong smiled at the tom. She remembered looking up to him when she was a young apprentice. Even today she would find herself admiring some of his qualities. She liked times like these where she could spend some time with him. "Tigerpaw is doing great!" She exclaimed happily. "He caught his first rabbit today and was even able to detect some difficult scents. Just a few more moons and I'm sure he'll be ready for his warrior name." Applesong explained further. She would miss training her apprentice when the time came, but nothing would compare to seeing the young cat she trained grow into a fine warrior for the clan. "All of the apprentices seem very talented, it gives me hope for the clan's future. I wish, though, there were more kits. Once Featherkit finally become an apprentice the nursery will be empty."

Rapidleap

"Yeah, well, takes a good warrior to train a good warrior," Rapidleap replied with a smile. She paused and hissed, the smell of badger overwhelming, "We have to be close," she said softly, not wanting to attract attention. "It's almost out of our territory though, so that's good."

Stormpatch

Stormpatch listened, and nodded, "You're a great mentor. I'm sure our clan will be strong as ever when those apprentices become warriors. But I know what you mean. After Featherkit, we'll have no one left, and even then only one apprentice." He'd like kits some day, he thought to himself. He figured he'd be a great father. Immediately he thought of Applesong, how good of a mother she'd be, and the thought made him blush. He quickly tried to put it out of his mind. "Maybe we'll have some queens soon," he offered, "I'm not aware of many cats mating, but hopefully that'll change." There was more he wanted to say, so much more, but he opted instead to take a bite of the freshly caught rabbit.

She felt herself fall off Sunpaw, her balance quickly coming into play. Willowpelt sat down, her eyes focoused on Sunpaw. "You never know when a enemy will attack, Sunpaw. This was supposed to teach you to always be aware.", she meowed, her ears flicked forward. Her whiskers twitched," I hope I haven't scared you too much."

Sunpaw felt her heatbeat slow down. "I wasn't scared at all!" Sunpaw exclaimed, trying to sound brave. She didn't want to seem cowardly in front of the cat she looked up to most.

Rushwing halted at the scent of the badger. He nodded at Rapidleap's words. Careful with each pawstep, he crept closer until he had a view of the badger. "You and the others did a good job, it seems pretty hurt." He whispered to his companion.

Applesong could feel her pelt grow hot when he complimented her. "Yeah, hopefully." She said before taking a bite of her own rabbit. "Maybe love has struck the clan and we don't even know it." The she-cat said with a laugh.

Rapidleap nodded, "How should we handle it?" She asked in a whisper, eyes trained on the injured animal. It's eyes had been clawed pretty good, and it was obvious one if it's front legs was broken. "We don't want it going into other clan's territory, either. At least not without warning them."

The tom laughed, "Yeah." He tried to think of what else to say, but was coming up with nothing. Finally, he looked up, "Nice weather we're having, huh?" He said lamely. The weather, Stormpatch? Seriously?
