Sorry I haven't really been posting. I've been busy thinking about a couple things:
1. Neegan is gonna kill us all. Rick, Glenn, Alexandria, the show itself.
2. Why isn't Carl telling Rick about Ron, the kid who tried to kill him? I swear, even though Carl loses his eye another way in the comic, Ron is gonna do it. That punk is gonna do it.
3. Sam's gonna kill us all too... But before Neegan because he isn't here just yet.

I totally agree with you about Ron shooting Carl's eye out. I think what is going to happen in the next half of the season is honestly, Jessie and Sam are going to die. I think Jessie will die like she does in the comics after getting grabbed by walkers [cause of Sam-] and Rick chops her hand off because she is holding onto Carl.
Sam will end up dying somehow too and my guess is, we're going to think Ron is dead as well, but after the group gets somewhere safe, he'll show up with a gun, and probably be bit and he'll go to shoot Rick, but Carl will jump in front of his dad, therefore getting his eye shot out. Then Michonne will kill Ron.

My only problem, is it is so hard to make the eye shot out realistic. I personally don't care whether Carl loses his eye or not, I just am hoping they explain it in a good way.

Yes, I study medical things ( Parasites, infections, etc. ) and by technicality it's practically impossible to shoot someone in the eye without
A. Going all the way though the cranium and effectively killing said person ( Severe blood loss and infection is unavoidable)
B. Hitting the brain and disabling the person to an extent ( Depending on the the force and area it hits, can also kill, blood loss and infection are still almost completely guaranteed )
( This points out that it'd be impossible to pull it off without disabling or killing Carl )

I mean it's practically impossible to make it realistic. I mean granted, so is the whole show in general with the walkers, but still. I'm really hoping both at the same time, they don't do it, but then also that they do it and see how they explain it.

My one problem honestly is, if Carl does in fact lose his eye somehow and actually does manage to survive, I feel like they would simply be adding it more so for the people who are hardcore comic fans and have been complaining about what the show does, altering the universe of the comics. That's how I felt with Terminus, honestly.

I mean they spent a whole half a season, building up Terminus and we finally got to see it in the finale. But then in the season 5 premiere, it went away extremely quickly, not to mention the termites got killed off really easily as well. I felt like they added Terminus in, just to please the comic book fans honestly, but that's just me being someone who knows facts about the comics, but hasn't actually read them.

Everyone is there for a reason, which makes them as important. Like, look at Morgan! Who knew he'd come back, seasons ago he was just 'there'. Some character development, especially with his wife, then he was gone.. But now he back!! Lol.

By the way, I don't think Carl will lose his eye.. Like you guys mentioned, just too much makeup and it wouldn't be realistic. If they didn't show the eye, it'll be annoying to the fans but if they did it would probably be unrealistic and gruesome and just too much, besides the show is more on the drama side than the gore/horror side.

Edit: I agree with you Fir, I just think Carl losing his eye would be unrealistic. I mean, you have those crazy theories about Beth where people think she's going to come back and just, be blind after what happened and even that's a bit unrealistic in my opinion.

I don't know, Carl losing his eye would be interesting to add to the show, it would be interesting to see how they portray it and how even Chandler plays the character after that incident. But it's just too much really and unrealistic to the point where I think it would be pointless.

@Mystery It is really comfy! And thanks! a friend made the signature for me a while ago, and I never felt like changing it because I love the GIFs. Also, I do a lot of RPing myself (on another site), but it's been really hard to find anyone willing to RP The Walking Dead there lately. What sites do you use?

Also, as a reader of the comics, I do have to say that I would be completely okay with Carl not losing his eye in the show. It was more of a hindrance to him than anything, and it just doesn't seem possible to be shot like that and survive. He's already survived one gunshot as it is, so I think two would be a bit excessive. I'm hoping that Kirkman will just pass over it, like he did Rick's arm being chopped off by the Governor.

I have to agree, I have a cousin who reads the comics and he's read up to the point where Carl lost his eye. I know that there are some fans of the comics where they are okay if some things happen and okay with other things not happening.

But as a fan of not only TWD, but also the Marvel and DC comics, I can say that there are some fans that get extremely...annoyed and angry when something doesn't happen and they alter the history of something. So I'm pretty sure that there are some people questioning when is Carl going to lose his eye.

I agree though, I really hope Kirkman passes on it as well. It just seems a bit excessive in my opinion as well, Carl already survived one gun shot to his abdomen, one more shot, and in the head at that, I think would just kill him. It's not that simple to just say he gets shot in the eye and SOMEHOW manages to live like he did in the comics, it's just not really possible.

As for the RP things, I used to roleplay quite a bit on here, but stopped after I ran into a few members who weren't exactly the friendliest. I now roleplay on a site called Quotev. Quotev is this website that is meant for stories like fanfictions, quizzes, a place to meet people, etc. But there's also a part of Quotev called groups, and the groups is a section where you can roleplay pretty much anything, there's a lot of groups for TWD on the website honestly.
