Wildstar then signaled with her tail for Brambletail and Tawnypaw to come underneath the High Rock.

The she-cat finished the rabbit, burying it's bones. When she heard Wildstar's call, she padded over and sat under high rock, beside Tawnypaw. She was excited for what the meeting would hold, and equally excited to be around her clan mates.

Tawnypaw

The tom waited patiently. He noticed two other apprentices, Robinpaw and Eaglepaw, but didn't bother saying hi. Even if they were friendly, he was too anxious. A part of him said that he would never feel welcome here, but another part hoped he would. When he saw Wildstar motion for him, he stood forward, gulping nervously. Brambletail? He could only guess what would come next.

Wildstar saw that almost everyone was at High Rock she continued to wait till everyone was there.

Brambletail buried the carcass of her eaten squirrel and walked over to the highrock, where Wildstar had signaled her and Tawnypaw to come. She thought to herself, I guess I'm going to be his mentor..

Once everyone was at the high rock Wildstar continued "Brambletail." "You are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will mentor Tawnypaw. You have shown your loyalty and bravery to your clan and now I ask you to pass down all you know to this apprentice.

Tawnypaw

He expected as much. The young tom cleared his throat, turning to Brambletail, "It's, uh, an honor to be your apprentice," he began, unsure what was appropriate in this situation, "I hope you can teach me how to fight and hunt, because I'm terrible at it." Still, he was nervous. He knew Brambletail wasn't the friendliest towards kittypets, and he hoped that wouldn't be the case with him.

Knowing how nervous the young tom must be, she softened her voice a bit, "I'm glad to have you as an apprentice, and I'm sure I can show you a few tricks. Nobody is perfect at the start." She wasn't really sure what to say after that. She knew he came from a kittypet home, but he had already shown great potential since coming to the clan. He didn't seem to unlike her, seeing as they were both rather quiet and neither clan-born.
