Dusty jumped over her housefolks fence and wandered unknowingly into Mistclan territory, taking in the view of the forest. It had a layer of cold snow and frost. As she wandered around she noticed a scuffling sound at the edge of her vision. She saw a small mouse scuffling in some leaves, trying to take shelter. The new smell interested Dusty and creeped forward, silently. Her kit fur fluffed up as she felt the cold bear in on her. She made a graceful leap and pounced on the mouse. The mouse let out a squeak of terror, quickly silenced by a slice to its throat. Dusty took a bite out of the mouse and was overwhelmed by the flavor. She finished the mouse in a few swift bites and buried the rest in a shallow hole of snow. She started to walk back to her housefolk, their mews calling out for her.

"Thank you, Tornear" Blossomstar mewed, watching him pad away. The leader looked behind herself, following was Petalpaw and other apprentices. "Come on." She mewed, padding to the camp entance, then out of the camp. Blossomstar looked around and saw the training hollow. The she cat ran over to there, staying alert. The training hollow happened to be close to the border by about 12 rabbit hops. When she got there, she sat gently and waited for the apprentices to catch up.

Shadeclaw walked in the forest slowly, looking for prey. She then heard a squeak of a mouse and crept to it, then saw a kittypet. "What do you think your doing in Mistclan territory?" She demanded harshly.
