Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

Patric O'Hara watched as a ship flowed into the harbor, then stood and picked up the book that contained lists of ships, captains, and the like, so that the harbormaster could control who went in and out of the docks.

Alexa saw the man with the book. She walked to him and crouched down. "Hello." She said, hoping she hadnt startled him. "I'm Alexa." She held out her hand.

Patric shook her hand in a businesslike manner and dipped his quill pen in an ink-pot. "I'll need your ship's name, please, and it's two shillings to dock here." He flipped open the book and recorded the girl's name, then eyed her curiously. "You can't be older that nineteen," he said. "Are you the captain of that vessel?" He pointed his quill at the ship with crossbones on the sails.

"The ship's name is, The Maiden." Alexa said, she loved the ship and said it's name with great authority. She handed over the money and looked at him. "I share captain. Liza is the other one." She said. "And, yes, I'm nineteen."

Patric nodded, then tucked the coins into the small black purse at his belt. The money would be split between him and the harbormaster, and most of the boy's salary went into supporting his family. He recorded The Maiden in his book, then nodded and tipped his hat. "Welcome to Port Royale, Miss Alexa."

"Here." Alexa said, handing him two more coins, for his kindness. "How long is your shift?" She asked.

Patric looked at the coins in surprise, then tucked them into his pocket. "Thank you kindly, Ma'am," he said with a small smile. Anything other than the pay for the ship was his to do with as he liked, and with so many siblings it was easier said than done to feed them all. At her question, he looked halfway over his shoulder at the clock tower. "Another hour or so," he said, glancing back at Alexa. "Until six."

"Then I shall see you at six." Alexa said. She walked to the local pub and ordered a fried fish.

Patric watched the girl go, an amused smile on his lips. "Alright then," he said with a slightly chuckle, sitting down at the desk and fingering the two coins she had given him. He was about to slip them back into his pocket when he heard a clink and a swish from behind him. The boy ducked, a trick learned from long experience, as an empty whiskey bottle flew over his red hair and smashed against the dock a few feet away. He looked over his shoulder and saw the harbormaster, drunk as usual, come stumbling out of the building in which he worked (if you could call drinking himself into a stupor working).

Jessy walked over to the new ship. He inspected it from afar, noticing little details about it. He then proceded to walked into the pub Alexa had gone into. He unwittingly sat beside the pirate captain.
"Beer and some grilled fish." He sat and sipped at his beverage as he waited for his meal. Glancing over at Alexa, he proceded to talk to her.
"Hello. My I ask your name, miss?" He smiled kindly as not to frighten her or madden her.
