Applesong looked for her apprentice through the golden plains. "Tigerpaw!" She called, hoping her apprentice wouldn't be too far. She had lost track of him while doing her own hunting.

Sunpaw I Female I 9 moons I Crush: Open I Mentor: Willowpelt

Sunpaw listened carefully to Rapidleap as she gave them the plan on taking the badger and some lifesaving tips. She was scared, but not all of her fear was a result of the badger. Sunpaw was worried that she would start doing those odd things again, and the others would see it.

Willowpelt~Deputy~Shecat~27 Moons~Apprentice: Sunpaw~Crush; WolfClaw

Willowpelt staggered as she stood up, her eyes focused on the terrible creature. "I am a burning flame, Rapidleaf! Nothing can stop me!", she hisses. Willowpelt slowly went up, her tail fluffy but dragging as the scratch as little drops of scarlet are dropping on the ground.

Badger

The badger saw more of the bigger prey come, a loud growl coming out. He swiped, his yellow claw swiping the air.

~Losteye~Tom~Elder~54 Moons~

He yawned, tiredness quickly filling him. "Aye, its alright.", his eyes slowly closed as he was fast asleep. The ground beneath him disappeared, strong winds blowing, making him fly. Losteye's pelt fluffed in shock as the surroundings turned to a pure black, only a giant ball of light ahead. He spotted a grow flapping its wings, cawing. "The Crow will fly towards the sun" A mysterious voice spoke, echoing in his ear. Then, a murder of crows appeared, dropping wings as they flew by. The crows disappeared as the feathers turned into a stream, but no noise came. "Near the silent stream" His head turned in confusion, sharp noises heading towards him, but quickly getting silenced. "and It's Sharp Steps will soon be Silenced" The finally words were burning in his ear, Losteye's pelt fluffed with fear. He then woke up, his eyes widened in shock.

SilentStep successfully made it over without any issues and continued towards the whisper forest.

Rapidleap & Sharppaw

Rapidleap respected her deputy's dedication. She doesn't give up, does she? No wonder she made deputy. Without wasting any more time, Rapidleap sprung on top of the badger, digging her claws in. Out of reach of his jaws and paws, she bit down on it's neck as hard as she could.

Sharppaw's heart was beating so fast. He had never been in a battle before, and he wondered if Sunpaw could say the same. He got close to the badger, but in a position where it would easy to dodge. He unsheathed his claws, raking them against the badger's face.

Riverpaw

Riverpaw didn't say anything when the elder fell asleep, but he could sense something was wrong when he awoke, eye wide. "Is everything okay, Losteye?" He asked, "You look like you had a bad dream."

She rushed to the badger's flank, quickly nipping it and hopping back, hissing. Revenge! "Don't you ever try harming Cloud Clan again!", Willowpelt yowls, her front paw raking the badger's leg. Her tail was fluffed up. It is so nice to see my clan mates working together, but not risking their lives. She looked at Sunpaw, impressed of how she was still standing.

Badger

He gave a roar in confusion, feeling the claw marks of the cats on his pelt. He tried to swipe once again, but missed. The badgor shook his back, rearing on his back paws as he held his claws in the air, striking down.

"N-nothing is wrong...", he lied, paws trembling as he glanced at Riverpaw. Losteye sighed, his pelt ruffled from the nightmare.

Sunpaw I Female I 9 moons I Crush: Open I Mentor: Willowpelt

Sunpaw saw Rapidleap begin her attack on the badger and took that as a sign that she should jump in. The young apprentice joined Sharppaw in clawing at the beast. Her fast moving paws were trying to cause as much damage as possible.

Rapidleap & Sharppaw

Rapidleap struggled to hold on as the large animal reared up. She bit down harder on the scruff of its neck, using her teeth to hold on while her front claws went to work, swiping over it's head.

Sharppaw was continuing to scratch, the only thing he could think to do, and didn't notice when the badger's claws came down. He felt claw marks scrape across his face and blood drip onto the leaves beneath them. He hissed, hurrying to step back. That hurt! he thought to himself. Hurt a lot. He had to keep his right eye closed, he wasn't sure it was injured but it hurt too bad to keep open. With only one eye open, he quickly opened his mouth and chomped down as hard as he could on one of the badger's front legs. He didn't want Sunpaw to end up getting hit from it either, although now that he thought about it, she was unusually fast with her attacks. She must be better at dodging than me, he thought, when we get out of this, I need more training..

Riverpaw

The medicine cat apprentice frowned. He could tell something was wrong, and wished he could help. "You don't have to talk about it," he said, "But if you ever do need to talk about it, I'm all ears. I know a thing or two about weird dreams."

Sunpaw's eyes burned with a newfound fury when she saw Sharppaw get hit by the badger. Her strikes began to become more ferocious and for a moment her paws were just a blur. She wanted this battle to end before any other cat got hurt.

Silentstep arrived at the whisper forest. She grabbed has many herbs as possible and headed back towards camp.

Willowpelt felt pride surge through her as she watched her apprentice move like lightning, a little too fast for a cat her age. Suspicion suddenly filled Willowpelt. She shook her head. Nah. Her claws dug into the badger as she nibbled its tail, then yanking it.
