Depends... when I was younger it was a family day - but my Grandparents couldn't cope with hosting it these days.
I couldn't join my fella's family today since they're staying over and I have work tomorrow morning. So for now I'm playing Ori and the blind forest (which I've been looking forward to finally starting all year!) Stuffing myself with truffles and I have a nice bottle of Wolf Blass to myself

My parents will be over later on for dinner and presents (and my Mum will probably want to finish off my bottle of happy-juice). I've got a nice veggie bake to look forward to - something my Dad made me ages ago. I don't know how he does it but it's basically spicy veg in a dish topped with bread crumbs... it's SO good!
I have found an old (I think an original?) monopoly set - so we'll probably give that a go

*blows the dust off*
Mum and I usually have an Xmas tradition of watching the Grinch (god knows why - it's awful!) but I don't think we'll get time this year
Other than that, my real Xmas starts tomorrow. Straight after work I'll be picking up the better-half and joining my parents, sister, her husband and his family for a buffet-style dinner and more presents. My sister and her hubby are hosting for the first time since they've finally finished doing up their house and this is their first married xmas together.
Wish I didn't have to work - I've been rota'd in for xmas eve, boxing day, new years eve and new years day! (because they just can't get enough of me, evidently)
Well, I do have my boys with me for now (by boys, I mean my rats...) Hmm, they've had their xmas dinner (pasta and mash) and have sulked off to sleep... I'll give them a poke after and they can come out for a play

At least the tree's all up and on and I've put all my presents to everyone underneath so when my parents get in they can say "oooh that's nice, are those all for us?!" and I can go "well, actually... that one there, and that and that and that, oh and that pile and those bits? NO!

" haha, you have to slowly disapoint some people...
I should note, instead of the all-so-traditional British white xmas... it's become a soggy wet xmas today

er, yey?
Happy xmas all - and bah humbug!
