It wasn't long before Molly had led him directly to the back of house. She climbed up the side of a fence that was surrounding her yard and looked down at Birchpaw expecting him to follow before she jumped down into the yard. There were a few safe to eat plants, including plenty of catmint, that her housefolk maintained as well as plenty of cat toys scattered about. Molly ignored the plants and items and instead approached a small cat sized flap that would lead into the house.

The room they were in had a floor made of hard tiles. Molly led him to a food bowl that was filled with an expensive soft food. Clearly the kittypet's housefolk spoiled both her and her brother. "Here is the food." She meowed, "It's good try it."

The apprentice sniffs the food, and besides from the slight twoleg scent it did smell tasty. He took a small bite, and, realizing it was good like Molly said, he ate more greedily. "It's not as good as a freshly killed vole, but it's still pretty yummy," he meowed in between bites. He ate enough to quench his hunger then stopped, not wanting to eat all of Molly's food.
